I'm the Author/Narrator

I'm the author and narrator of 'Island Candy'' and I thought I'd share a few things about the book which you wouldn't get from the description or sample.

Island Candy will give you the full range of emotions. Yes, like all of my romances, it has very steamy, very detailed sex scenes, and it has a number of twists and turns. But, it will also make you laugh out loud. There are parts where you will be gripped by the fun action. There are parts where you will be angered by some character's actions. And, you might even shed a few tears because of what happens. I wrote this to give you a complete emotional journey. So that, by the end, you really feel satisfied by what you've experienced.

Also, being from the Bahamas, everywhere the characters visit while on Nassau and Paradise Island, are places that exist or used to exist. The yoga retreat is a place I've stayed at. A lot of sex happens there because the setting is beautiful. Many times I ate at Hurricane Hole. And, the character Paulo is based one of my best friends growing up. Want to check out his paintings? Good book

Loved the storyline and the characters. The delivery was a little flat in places. Thumbs-up.

Steamy and a story

Enjoyed this very much. Loved the author's reading. Enjoyed the tension, the subterfuge, the heartache, and the heat.

Not a fan of the narrator

Could have been better if the narrator didn’t have such a horrendous female voice. I wasn’t a fan of that and it seemed distracting to the plot.

Nope

There's literally nothing positive that I can say about it. The writing is extremely amateurish and confused. And the narration is painfully terrible. From the accents to making women's voices and noises. It's absolutely horrible. This was a complete waste of a credit.
