Publisher's summary

It's a bit silly but that white dress is scarier than any of the criminals I've put away.

DS Kentley deals with the aftermath of her kidnapping and hopefully finds her happy ever after in internationally best-selling author, Hanleigh Bradley's romantic suspense, Irreversible Fate.

Georgia is scared out of her mind but this time it's not because there's a crazy-arsed serial killer out to get her.

No. This time, her boyfriend and boss DCI Walker Trent just wants to marry her.

Georgia is more scared of wearing a wedding dress than she is of chasing down criminals, but there's no way that Walker will let her back out.

He's holding her to the promise and so Georgia has no other option other than to walk into that church and say "I do".

Irreversible Fate is the third book in the Fate series, a complete police romantic suspense series.

Nothing is wrong with being saved except, usually someone has to risk themselves to save you. Being rescued is Georgia's worst fear.

Closure

As with all of the other series in Hanleigh's London universe, I'm sad to see this come to a conclusion. Georgia has faced down danger plenty of times, sometimes at a great cost to her person, but the prospect of marriage has her tied up in knots. It's humorous and in keeping with her personality.

I love what causes her to get on board, kinda, and how she negotiates through things she'd rather avoid. There's closure in a couple of areas but she and Walker are so entertaining, I'd happily read / listen to more of them. 😍🤗

When it comes to the narration, I'll continue my dissatisfaction that Crystal Crockett is American and not ideal for a series set in London where English accents are expected. In another series, set in the US, I'd be happy with her in a female role but no male or other nationality set books.
