Irresistible Read

This book was smooth like butter and easy to digest. The narrator did a great job expressing the passion of the author without being condescending or judgemental. The book serves as a great reminder to serve the world using our gifts without judgment and self-righteousness.

Amazing!

I heard of Scott Sauls and this book recommendation of Annie F. Downs podcast and I'm so glad I got this book. I recently resigned from my position of working in a church. Not for toxic reasons. My husband and I had a baby and I decided to stay home. With my departure from a job in outreach that I absolutely loved I felt like less of a person because I wasn't working. I love how Sauls spoke and snapped me out of my pity-party funk and reminded me that ALL work, not just in a church, is good. I 100% recommend this book to anyone. If you work (we all do!) and if you are looking for clarity and purpose in your work life and how faith is woven in our work life, get this book and listen to it.
