Publisher's Summary

This isn't a story about the undead or the apocalypse. It's the story of the team, how a small group of men and women deal with combat in a world gone mad.

This audiobook contains nine of the stories in the Zombie Killers series, from Falling to Bad Company.

Roller coaster

This book from start to finish is a roller coaster of emotions. The Writher has taken real world military and but it in this book. The reader has put his emotions into him telling to story where you feel like your in the fight. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves zombie books and military fantasy.

If you like characters, this book is not for you.

One botched encounter after another. I only made it through about half of the series.

New mission: Something goes wrong... Some die, some live... Rinse and repeat.

New character: instantly identified as "good" or "bad"... backstory or development left out. They die or they live, but after the first several iteration, I can't bring myself to care, at all.

Pros:
Great Narration.

Cons:
Nonexistent character development.
Little to no plot.

AWESOME...

As a former airborne infantryman and recon team member with the 83nd Airborne Division, I have to say this is the best military post apocolypse series I have ever read (listened to).
The interaction between team members; bullshitting and arguing is spot on.
Loved this series and seriously look forward to more from this outstanding author

Immersive and gritty

Talon Beeson's narration was as credible as that of a veteran soldier telling his story as I have ever heard. He effortlessly assumes the persona of Nick Agostine and in doing so makes the story his.
I've always enjoyed J.F. Holmes's work, and this audiobook had me hooked through the entire story.

A Gritty Action Novel

I love sci-fi and action novels. Mark Tufo being one of my favorite authors. One of the things I look for in a story is if the characters are relatable. I fell in love with these characters right in the beginning. Anyone who enjoys a good zombie action book should definitely add this to their list.

The Perfect blend of zombies and military action.

Whether you like military action or zombie stories, this one is right for you. If you like both, it is even better. I was never much on zombie tales, but I really like this one. The action is authentic and maintains believability in a post zombie universe. The characters grow on you as the story moves along.

The story carries a good balance of action, drama, and even some laugh out loud moments. I never lost interest throughout the entire length of the series. The miles fly by in no time listening to this one.

I highly recommend this series.

Something different

Great cast and love the ode to the Dark Tower. The characters are some of the best players to grace a story. Also the writer got me thinking just how precious toilet paper is. While I been out of the service going on three years, I do remember the joy a roll of TP brought me.

I cannot wait till the next installmemt.

Much better than expected!

This omnibus apocalypse series is surprisingly good. I wasn’t expecting this bundle to be so entertaining and so well written considering the number of volumes and the price. The characters are wonderful, the narrator excellent; Talon Beeson reminds me of Ray Porter. Brit is a hoot; her bold personality brought a smile to my face many times throughout the novel. I had high hopes for Brit and Nick. I can’t possibly review ten books. All I can say is that this series is great. I definitely recommend this series, especially if you can get the omnibus edition.

Overall, it's a good story.<br />

My issues with it are that the books are extremely repetitive (this is the mission, bad guy, death and injuries, this is our last mission ever, wait just one more mission, bad guy, death and injuries, this is our last mission..lather, rinse, repeat) and the ending was entirely too convenient.

Good story

Good story
Well worth buying this Bundle pack with 30+ hours what is it listening not so sure if I would’ve purchased for 10 books individually as the cost of credit would’ve been too much, the characters are well rounded with decent personalities if not all slightly nuts, I assume a zombie apocalypse that would do that to you anyway

You won’t want to sleep

I’ve read this series twice and are awaiting the next instalment with bated breath. This is the first audio book I’ve listened to, and should not have doubted that it would let the written work down. A great story that is well narrated- it takes a little while for the narrator to hit his stride, but when he does the next 30 hours are captivating.
