Vampires vs. Banshees

This audiobook is a just over two hours long, with a fast-paced, entertaining and humorous story-line about a vampire-hunting trio headed by protagonist Joe Gunn (aka “Black Irish”), girlfriend “Keela” and fellow gun Brian (aka “Brain”).

This “chapter” begins where the last one left off-and the trio soon find themselves in the middle of a clandestine war between the Vampires and the Banshees. If that weren’t enough, the Order-a vampire-hunting organization that the trio work for-has been infiltrated by vampires intent on using Black Irish and his crew to their advantage.

The characters are well-developed and engaging, especially Joe Gunn/Black Irish. A one-time “Renfield” (the slave of a vampire who finds humans for his vampire master), Black Irish is hilarious and highly entertaining!

The narrator who plays Joe Gunn does an incredible job-he really makes the character come alive.

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review.

What a cliffhanger!

My only problem with this book is that now I have to wait for book four! I can't wait to see what happens next!

Wow, what an ending.

This is the last installment of this series. Lots of action. Narrator again did an great job. Too bad it ended.

Black Irish strikes again!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and hope that there are more books to come. The characters are great, the action is intense and there is always a twist or two (or three) in each one.

This story picks up where the second one left off, with Joe Gunn (also known as Black Irish) becoming the host to Banshees. His pals and fellow guns, Keila and Brain, are along for this new adventure and they continue to kick butt against the Vampires.

There are definitely a few things that I never saw coming in this installment and the ending? You have got to be kidding! I need more of this adventure! The narrator, Thomas Stone, is the epitome of Joe Gunn and does a fantastic job, which really adds a lot to the enjoyment of this book.

I was given an Audible copy of this book by the author/narrator/publisher and chose to review it.

short but good series

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I'm not sure if this is the last book in the series or not, but it is enjoyable. Sadly, these have all been really short. I think they should be combined in a boxed set, to make them worth using a credit on. That being said, the Blade-like Black Irish character is engaging and entertaining. The narration is good, too, so worth checking out if you like these sort of stories.
