It was now the year 3133 and it had been seven years since the crew of the NR Tempestas set out to find the Sakkara and five and a half years since they returned. The Romani had not seen or heard of the Saltic in all that time, and their life returned to normal. The idyllic existence of the remaining Andromeda 7 continued on the home world of the Romani, Nova Romae. Complacency had settled in on them, since they were the only ones who knew of the Saltic, other than the Sinclair Corporation, which had tried, much to its detriment, to ally with them. However, complacency was the enemy of preparation and the Saltic were coming. At the opposite side of human space, near the core of the galaxy, there was a disturbance. No one knew what it was about and no one recognized the danger, but danger was on its way. As the Slones and their friends enjoyed their lives on Nova Romae, darkness was descending on the galaxy that would soon threaten all of humanity. Whether or not the human race was equal to the challenge was unknown, only time would tell. . .
