A world has been deceived, and a war has begun....

America has been invaded and stands isolated, alone, and without allies....

Lines have been drawn; sides have been chosen - brother against sister, father against daughter, parents against their children.

Battles rage from the Midwest to the Great Plains as militia factions form and political frustrations turn to violence.

The UN peacekeepers are hailed as liberators in the Northeast but reviled as invaders in the Upper Midwest.

Four nuclear armed powers wage war. Will the nuclear genie remain in the bottle, or will a desperate America, attacked on all sides, resort to using this devastating weapon to equal the playing field?

As the world descends into chaos, the puppet masters pulling the strings may finally have been exposed. But is it too little, too late? Can the endgame be stopped or is the world careening toward an unimaginable disaster?

To say entertaining is an understatement.

Rosone and Watson are on their way to being recognized with the likes of Tom Clancy, and other writers in this genera. To me, this whole series paints a potentially scary future if the events in the previous two books comes to pass. Overall, it's an excellent story and the characters are truly awesome. You wanna root for the heros and see the antagonists fall. Be warned though, some of the events later on in the book will make your blood boil.

Pure Entertainment!

I fought sleep on several evenings because the writing was so interesting. Unfortunately, thectopic is very close to what is happening in real life.
Very well written and narrated.

Audible Crack

I swear, this series is so captivating and enjoyable it’s like Audible Crack!
Rosone and Watson continue their scarily prescient techno-thriller series. Well presented by B. J.

Realistic

I love the idea of democrats taking to arms. Love the modern warfare, the use of social media and deep fakes. Really great story. On to the next part. Can’t wait.
The audio has some minor editing flaws.

Fall off from previous books

The first 2 books in this series were excellent. This one is a bit boring, with too many long, drawn out battle scenes that I found myself fast-forwarding through. I'll give book 4 a chance. I hope it is better.

Where is our Intel?

I do enjoy this series, my only problem with it is the obvious lack of intelligence on the Mexican boarder. The Chinese would not be able to conceal any of their activities in Mexico.

just keep driving...

I spend a lot of time on the road and audible makes those drives go by much faster. I have found that this series makes the drives go by too fast! I find myself wanting to keep driving so I can keep listening. The narrator is one of the best I have listened to on audible. Unfortunately, this is a book that you really have to read/listen to in order. the story itself is very plausible and it frightens me to think "what if?" I do think the author overplayed the phrase "stay frosty"! c'mon, enough already.

By the nose

Could a world be led by the nose by an enemy superpower and the free elite? Makes me wonder, or is it a case of don't ask.

These books simply get better.

Narration is bizarre and off putting.

I found the narration to be poor quality. Execution of the story line wasnt great either

horrible. dont waste your time.

i persisted with this series for as long as i could, but this is it, i cant subject myself to anymore. terribly written, badly performed, and no structure what so ever.
the author claims to be a veteran himself but seems completely ignorant of all things military. the dialog is terrible, just people talking AT each other explaining every single thing they say or do as if theyre all robots. there is zero character development, and all of the characters are exactly the same. none of them has a single defining attribute that sets them apart from any of the other mindless cutouts of supposed humanity in this absolutely terrible piece of writing.
the story isnt going anywhere, and it has no structure. it ends seemingly out of nowhere, having done nothing to further the plot at all. clearly a cash grab for the next books in the series.
i actually stopped listening to this and went and listened to other audio books in similar genres, then came back, and was astounded by how utterly atrocious it is by comparison.

to prospective readers: dont waste your time or money on this utter garbage.

to the author: find another job, you're not good at this.
