Erika lays a foundation for the Mosaic Covenant. Using Exodus 2:23-25, she reminds us that God "knew" and remembered what what happening with Abraham's descendants, who have become so numerous they are called a swarm (seen in the Hebrew in Exodus 1:7). God promised Abraham that Israel would be used to bless the nations in Genesis 12:1-3. Miraculously He rescues and redeems His people out of Egypt. That event is so important it is alluded to in every book in the Old Testament.
"Remembering" in Scripture is a call to action.
Israel is called God's inheritance in Deuteronomy 9:26, 29 and 32:9. Erika misspoke when she said Psalm 32:12...it's actually Psalm 33:12.
