The tea ceremony is a traditional way of serving tea and entertaining guests.

茶道は茶の湯とも呼ばれ、伝統的な作法により客に茶をふるまい、もてなす行事です。
鎌倉時代に日本で禅宗が広まるとともに茶道も広まり、安土桃山時代に千利休が侘茶を完成させ、現在の茶道の原形ができました。
茶道では禅宗の考え方に基づき、「わび・さび」と呼ばれる精神文化が生まれました。
「わび」とは質素な様子、「さび」とは枯れゆくものの中にある美しさを指し、「わび・さび」とは「はかないものを愛する」という、日本人の美意識を表します。
「わび・さび」の精神を大切にする茶道では、静かな茶室で茶をいただくことに集中し、自分自身を見つめ直します。
茶道からは、礼儀作法だけでなく、茶道具、茶室に飾る掛け軸や花器なども芸術品として発展しました。

No more than 2 minutes. Joking?

The whole book is the free abstract. This must be a mistake. I wish I could hace learned about the tea ceremony.
