I just love demon and angel stories and this one is definitely up on the list. Living in the human world is hard, especially when you don’t know what you are capable of. Luckily she is able to find out after some very hard times and will hopefully find out what she is meant to be in the next book.

A great start to this paranormal romance trilogy!

A great start to this paranormal romance trilogy! With a gripping introduction scene, we meet Lorelei, a young girl who quickly becomes the focal point of a mysterious storyline waiting to unfold. The author creatively advances the timeline, capturing impactful moments of Lorelei’s childhood and how it has brought her to the present. There’s no shortage of suspense, as the mystery to Lorelei’s importance and her bond with Vincent is slowly revealed. Their connection is strong and keeps growing as Lorelei matures and uncovers her powers. I can’t wait to see how their destiny plays out and what Lorelei’s role will be in this newly discovered world as she becomes either the key to unleashing or stopping evil. I loved the dual narration by Sarah Puckett and Tim Paige. They equally have excellent male and female voices and truly captured the personalities of these characters from both points of view. The level of emotion elevated the story and enhanced the chemistry of these fated lovers.

Epic paranormal romance to be consumed

What an epic story! I couldn't stop listening. And these narrators were the perfect voices for these characters. This is a paranormal romance with an unique twist. Lorelei is special, even though she is meant to feel anything but in the foster system. She has dreams of Vincent her whole life. In this story we follow her from childhood to being in her early 20's. We watch the things unfold in her life even she doesn't remember. I don't want to give any other details. There is so much that happens in this book. Just know it's freaking epic! Just when I thought I had the story figured out, bam!, surprise. And the ending leaves you wanting so much more. The rest of trilogy is not available on audio yet but you can go read it in book form. That's where I'm headed. This is a must read for paranormal romance fans. This is not a predictable book and it will have you holding on for dear life from start to finish.

Into the Shadows (Shadows Ascending Trilogy, Book 1) is the intro to this young adult paranormal romance and begins with a powerful prologue that captures your mind. Archangels, demons and vampires are the supernatural creatures embodying this world. The lovestory between Lorelei and Vincent experiences complex thoughts and actions. The world building created is unique and well weaved. Chemistry between mc's, unanswered questions answered, life long that began during childhood dreams of Vincent. This ends in a cliffhanger and book two is not available on audio yet.

Narators Sarah Puckett and Tim Paige flawless performance captures the essence of the characters and their storyline. Both narators performances were excellent. Excellent inflections and great expressing emotions.

Young Adult PRN!

This is the first book in the Shadows Ascending Trilogy, a young adult paranormal vampires romance. This story has archangels, demons, and vampires. Lorelei and Vincent’s story is complex and captivating. Lorelei is beautiful, strong, and smart. Vincent is handsome and protective. They share and undeniable chemistry. I like their slow burn romance. The supporting characters are intriguing. The world building is well done and intricate, The story ends with a cliffhanger. Sarah Puckett and Tim Paige did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series. #AudiobookObsession #PinkFlamingoProductions

this book was so good, from beginning to end. full of action, and adventures, the poor girl is on the run but she don't know from what because everyone is keeping her in the dark. she want a normal life but its far from that. this is a must read/listen. I would recommend this to everyone that love paranormal books. I cant wait to get my hands on the next book. I need to know whats going to happen next.

Great story

Great start to a series... great world the author created for one to get lost in. loved the characters and the story was very well written and intriguing from the beginning to the end of the cliffhanger. Narrators do an amazing job bringing the characters to life.

So 3.5 for me. This was short and really not that sweet. I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE THIS ONE! I love paranormal books and especially ones with unique twists rather than the same old same old. This blurb and even the audio sample sounded great, then I started it...I could not get into it. I've listened to these narrators before but something just wasn't grabbing my attention like I was hoping it would. I suppose reading this would maybe have been better? I just had zero interest in this once I got farther along in it. I suspect this one would be better for me to read rather than listen, which I may do in the future.

Take a Journey into a New World

I absolutely LOVED this story! Vincent and Lorelei are two amazing characters who take you on a fantastic journey. Somehow the author was able to include enough backstory and growing up spanning over almost a decade without the story seeming disconnected or like it was skipping around. It is truly a well written story. I love that nothing is as it seems and you are pulled into their story and left impatiently waiting for the next in the trilogy!

Sarah Puckett is absolutely amazing, great voice that keeps you sucked into the story and feeling what the characters are feeling. I loved Tim Paige, he has a great voice and was a fantastic Vincent. They both have these voices that can go from innocent and fierce to oozing sex in no time at all.

I would definitely recommend this story! I couldn't stop listening!!!

I received this book for free for a honest review.  I loved the characters and storyline. This story was so good. The characters are amazing! it flowed very well and held together.  The narrators did an excellent job of bringing the characters to life.  reccomend
