Publisher's Summary

The third book of the Darkness Chosen series finds New York Times best-selling author Christina Dodd at the top of her form. Adrik Wilder has a wild side indeed—the hot-tempered young man can change into a panther. The Suspence continues to ramp up. This story is a little different than the previous two. Adrick left the Wilder household to follow the wild sidr of himself. Now he has come to a crossroad. Has he gone too far or can he come home and bring the woman who means the world with him?

narrator is a problem

i read this series yeara ago and loved them. thought the narration was good until the middle of the series book 3. then the narrartor commited a really huge sin.. one of the biggest in my
book. he changed a former pronunciation of a main characters name.. if you aren't sure how to pronounce something, talk to the writer in rhe beginning and get it right. but if you start wrong staying wrong. consistency is key. if story were less strong i would demand my money back and stop the slaughter. boo on the narrartor for actions unbecoming

Into the Shadow

Generally I like the narrator, & he did a good job this time also. My only complaint is that he changed the pronunciation of the oldest bother’s name in this book & I was confused about it for the bulk of the story. Without seeing his name written, I didn’t realize Jassah was the same person as Yassah, lol. I’m sure the right pronunciation
Is with a lY”, but it took me nearly the whole book to figure it out, lol.

As for the story itself, I was very uncomfortable with the elements of slavery in the 1st part of the book & skipped over every aspect that put Karen in bonds. I don’t think I could have forgiven Warloard for doing that to me, regardless of what ordeal he went thru later. There’s too much of that kind of thing in the world today for it to be a fantasy that I enjoy.

I also didn’t like the way the author resolved Karen’s relationship with her step father. I can’t really say any more about it with out spoiling it, but sometimes people don’t deserve a happy ending.

my favorite installment yet! amazing heroine!!

I hated the hero to start but loved him by the end. The heroine was one of my all time favorites! Completely enjoyed every minute of this one. Beware it's a wicked cliffhanger!

Well written book

The book is long but very interesting. I only have one problem and that was the ending. The ending truly did not make any since.

Dodd Delivers

Dodd does it again! This book is even better than the rest. It more sexy, more edgy and more intense. Love the family element that pulls it all together. And with such fast-pace, stopping the book was impossible.

Warning: Once you begin this series, you'll want to finish all of the four books back-to-back!

AWSOME! LOVED IT! this is a must read book!

I loved this story of Adric's fall from grace and his path to redemption.

there are some pretty steamy love scenes, cool battles with demon men,a fiery plane crash, and a near death experience. this book moved from the first word to the last.

the whole series is great and I highly recommend all the books in it but Adric was my favorite of all the wilder boys.

the gift/curse of the devil to the men of this family is the ability to change into mighty beasts of prey, good health and the ability to heal almost instantly,... and only another demon/ or someone similarly gifted can kill you. COOL HUH? but there's a major down side.. the devil gets your soul when you die... but on earth?

the more Adric uses this gift the deeper he falls into the devils clutches, and the deeper in he goes the less human he is.. until he meets someone who makes him want to be a man again.

Adric's love (Karen) is no pushover and a great character you'll love.

and lastly Richard Ferone did an AMAZING job with the narration.
Paranormal romance readers this is a must read book!!!!
