Story
In the stillness of space, several asteroids disappear in the 82 G. Eridani System. Time passes and space wavers, and the missing asteroids reappear. They’re traveling at near-light-speed for the single populated planet. Nuclear-tipped missiles from the lone battleship fail to stop the asteroids, which crash against the planet, turning it into rubble and killing the 650 million inhabitants. Someone has found and now tested the perfect planet killer, an ancient device that turns asteroids and icy planetesimals into world-destroying projectiles.

great story
This is a progression of characters and setting, a well thought take on the realities of what would actually happen as a result of a zombie plague. Wonderfully narrated by RC. I suggest readers/listeners try out the first 5 books before plunging in here - it is worth the time.

Amazing Listen
As always, I was very happy with both the story and the presentation. I did get a little worried near the end but feel Mr. Brown left a great avenue for the next books. this story is fast paced from the very first book and continues to deliver through this current book. Please keep them coming, I have credits available!!!

The end of a epic story!
Finally we get the end of this epic series. It is one of the best series I have ever read and the characters is simply amazing. Thank you Ryk! And Jeffrey is a big part of making this series so good to listen to. We truly learned that the hard way when the first book of this series was totally destroyed of a narrower that didn’t care about what he read.

Gripping
I have been a fan of Ryk Brown since I read his first book. Ryk Brown has come a long way from a self-publishing author via Amazon to having Recorded Books publish his works. The book feels like it is the last book of the series.
The book is well written. There are lots of space battles and lots of nail-biting suspense. I have grown to like the various characters of this series and hate the thought of not visiting with them again. The ending of the book is a bit of a surprise. I am looking forward to Brown’s next book/series.
The book is fourteen hours and thirty minutes. Jeffrey Kafer does an excellent job narrating the series. Kafer is a voice-over artist and award-winning audiobook narrator.

Another great book in the series!
I loved every book of this series and this one was no exception! I hope this isn't the end!! if it is then it did a good job of tying up the series. But I really hope to see more about the crews as this series gave us not just one character but multiple characters including the ship Aurora to become invested in, I would really love to see (spoiler) the next iteration of the Aurora! I agree with Kenneth D when he wrote that Mr. Brown left it open for follow up books, ( Fingers crossed), As always Mr. Kafer did a wonderful job bringing the story to life! I will be listening to the series again while I am waiting for the next book. I apologize for being a bad reviewer! so I hope if you got anything from this review it is that this series is well worth the credits! (spoiler alert!) Please don't let it end with the Aurora in the big ship graveyard in the sky! I hope to see everyone back and Aurora bigger, badder and Smarter!
Thanks again!
