Publisher's Summary

Learn how it all began...before Rae Kerrigan.

The sins of the father are the sins of the son.

What did Rae's father do that put fear in people's eyes at the name Kerrigan?

After a mysterious attempt is made on his life, Simon Kerrigan has more questions than ever, and this time, he's not the only one. The beginnings of a secret society are formed at Guilder. A society of other like-minded students all unsatisfied with the status quo. All searching for the truth.

But things aren't always as they seem.

When Simon gets an unexpected visitor, his entire world is turned upside-down. Suddenly, the rules that were made to keep him safe, are the only things standing in his way.

Who can he trust? Can he learn to master his tatù? Most importantly, can he do it in time to protect those things that are most precious to him?

The Chronicles of Kerrigan Prequel is the beginning of the story before Rae Kerrigan. Christmas Before the Magic is just the beginning (but not the end...).

Good story but….

It a good story but, there’s some gaps that I’m thinking would have made more sense if I had listened to the series before the prequel. All in all it’s a good series and I will continue on with the prequel and the actual series. The narrator does a good job with the accents.

I received a copy in exchange for my honest review.

Good stuff.

Beth delightfully turned up. Simon became less feeling. Tristan was always loyal. The story stopped short.

More and more interesting!

I guess I should have said this previously but each of these books do end on a cliffhanger. Although each book has its own plot they all join together into the full story that you will get hooked on! I didn't think this was going to be something that would interest me but I decided to take a chance with one book. I didn't realize at the time but I actually listened to the fourth book first! It didn't matter I was hooked and hoping I could get the previous books and I could! This is the third book so I am definitely ready to go to the fifth one even though I should get doing something else. I will warn you that once you start listening you won't want to stop! The author has done a great job and so is the narrator in bringing the series to life!
