So Many Surprises

If you’ve read the rest of the series, you’re still in for a ride. This one has a lot of surprises and we get to see most of the usual supporting characters. I did feel like Daniel’s friends were a little tough on him, and Mal was a little more distant for a bit. Otherwise, it was exactly what I expected-sharp, twisty and thrilling. I’m still enjoying the narration by Elliot Fitzpatrick. Really hope this isn’t the last book in the series.
