The content of this book is the story about a personal struggle experienced by a man who has for obvious reasons requested to remain anonymous, but who suffered a very serious obsessive compulsive disorder for many years of his life, involving the area of sexual exhibitionism and addiction to pornography.

I became acquainted with this man through an online anxiety disorder forum and upon his becoming aware that I was a writer and author of published books/ebooks he requested to personally correspond with me. After beginning email correspondence with him, we both discovered that we had experienced scenarios that were similar in some areas, while very different in others. Most cases of porn addiction do not involve anxiety disorders but this was the case with the man who agreed to be interviewed by me for this book and as his experience demonstrates, sexual addictions may become more severe if anxiety disorders are also present and serve to fuel them.

Obviously there are many other types of addictions in the area of sexuality as well and some cause severe harm to others who become the target of men who perpetrate them. Sexual deviance that is not recognized has caused serious detriment to societies throughout the history of mankind, and it continues to do so. The subject matter is of a very serious nature and I have intended to address it as cautiously and respectfully as possible, within my abilities as a well-studied layperson, who has published resources on the subject of anxiety disorders since the year 2005. Additionally, I have been publishing resources on subjects of Christianity since the year 2005.

The man who will be the subject of this book, bravely came forward to relate his experiences to me and to select members of his family, friends and church family as a process of his deliverance. He discussed details of his former bondage to these behaviors with me, via my extensive interviews with him, which are transcribed carefully into the headings of this book, with the language and structure of comments made in answer to questions I posed to him, being edited by me as needed. He was assured by me that he was to be completely satisfied with the way in which I relate his story in writing, even though anonymously, or that the book would not be released for publication.

He did grant me approval for each of the headings listed below, after a strict reading and a final consideration of them. His name and identity will be carefully guarded and never revealed under any circumstances. I highly commend this man of Christian faith, for allowing others to understand and to learn from his experience, in spite of the anguish and guilt it caused him for many years of his life. He also informed me that coming forward in the attempt to help inform others about the problem in our society of sexual addictions in men, was part of his healing process and I feel privileged to play a part in that.

Difficult to hear, but informative.

At times, this book is a difficult audio because of the subject matter, yet, it gives much hope in showing how a man once sexually addicted can turn away from sinful sexual desire & begin to live out a healthy Christian sexuality through the deliverance of God from the temtations of addiction.
