good forward progress

this book moved the storyline forward and did not draw things out too much. I think it was a bit clunky and handed it to the MC a bit but not overly so. I enjoyed his personal growth in this one and I think that saved this book for me. I'm hoping the next is a bit more exciting because this one just didn't even make me feel like he could loose at any point like the first book did at times. overall I'm happy and look forward to the next installment

Awesome just simply awesome

My appetite for books varies but I’m always happy to listen to a book with a good narrator and simple storyline that slowly gets better, I like super complicated storylines as much as the next person but sometimes I just need something like this book.

Great Flow

Most book series that last this long have the issue of controlling the flow of the story. They either fill up with small issues that get resolved too quickly, or issues that are almost never resolved in a single book. This felt like a useful one off that had good reasons for having two main story plot lines that were properly resolved by the end. It also set up the next big issue without making it a constant issue throughout the whole book.

My favorite entry in the series!

Really good streamlined plot with fun hero. Can’t wait for the next book to come.

Love everything about it except

I love this series The world building the characters the fact that there's a Love interest I want that to develop a little more but my biggest issue with the book if it's not f****** long enough I need more

Series returned to the crafting aspect with a steady build up of world crafting (and battle) domination.

Keep writing strong, love where this series is heading.
