This is one awesome book

This is one awesome book, in my opinion. In addition to the recipes, i particularly liked the introduction, because it went into technical detail regarding diet and muscle building and it was well written. I certainly wasnt expecting this as i was just expecting a book on recipes.

As a sports nutritionist, I put together tons of meal plans ... but I have to tell you ... I got so wrapped up in the myths and fables being thrown around and tried so many different formulas that I lost sight of the basic truths of nutrition that made me passionate about what I was doing for others as well as myself. Michael was fantastic, easy recipes and even provides a nutritional breakdown ... clean, concise, easy to follow, and even inexpensive to make ... Most excellent! Super stoked and LOVE all the recipes I have tried so far.

Happy with my purchase

I initially bought this book for more info on how to meal plan and prep. Its info on meal planning isn't as extensive as I hoped, but this book has solid nutitrional and weightloss info and delicious recipes. I'm happy with it.

Absolutely perfect!

I own several cookbooks and this is by far the best "easiest" great tasting simple "easy to find" ingredients. I say that because most cookbooks nowadays these fitness trainers cook with things that are not normally used in an average normal kitchen. So this is simple and perfect. Plus it breaks down amount along with carbs, fats, etc. love it! Eating clean is hard enough and this is simple and delicious!

Great Intro

I've yet to actually make any of the meals but I've read the intro and I already feel like I've learned more about nutrition and healthy cooking than any class I've taken in school, in a practical sense. (Which let's be fair, sometimes that all one needs).
I've read through some of the recipes and I can not express how much I appreciate the use of ingredients that are easy to find in essentially any grocery store. Specifically grocery stores in rural towns where options can be pretty limited.
Of course, I'm sure these are tasty meals. I mean, a lot of it depends on how decent of a cook you are :)

I love the book

I love the book, I ordered it for my Beast of a boyfriend for Christmas, and of course, I used most of the recipes and really loved them. The information in the book is really good, intelligent, and the author is passionate about getting to the type of body you want...totally recommend it.

I am so impressed by every recipe.

I am so impressed by every recipe. Each one has incredible flavor. My issue has always been keeping my foods tasty and exciting so I don't get bored and begin to stray from eating well and keeping to my macros. These recipes are unbelievably amazing! My favorites by far are the muscle meatballs and the Pollo Fajitas. OoooH, buddy! Last night we decided to try a dessert and I made the Maple Rasin Bread Pudding. Wow!!! I'm completely in love with this cookbook! It is even kid/teenager taste bud approved!

This cookbook has been very helpful

Many of the recipes are simple. I like that I don't have to spend hours cooking. Many of the spices I already had. Great book for those who are looking to clean up their eating habits.

This book is awesome, gives detailed info on calories, protein, carbs, fat etc... A lot of delicious recipes for building muscle. I bought this book and Year one challenge for women book. I am going to use theses books together to start a year challenge program. Simple and easy to follow.

A lot of good recipes in here.

A lot of good recipes in here. I only wish there was more! There is a decent amount of recipes in here, divided between recipes to get lean and recipes to build muscle. It has a number of nice photographs, and each recipe includes the macronutrient details. (Unlike other bodybuilding cookbooks) My wife and I have both been enjoying the meals.

Makes weight loss and/or bulking a breeze

While a few of the recipes are a miss and a few are downright incorrect, the recipes overall are solid. This cookbook is a great way to make sure you’re eating the correct amount of macronutrients. Those who say the recipes are too simple are wrong and aren’t in the correct frame of mind to diet.

Love this cookbook

I love this cookbook! It can be difficult to get all of the protein I need for one day but this cookbook has made that much easier! I have put several recipes on a weekly rotation. I have a husband and 2 kids and I refuse to make separate meals & have only had positive feedback from them.

It's awesome book.

It's an awesome book. It's an ultimate guide to fat loss and anti-aging. People are always on the lookout for trends that can help them stay fit and healthy. There are various marketing gimmicks and weight loss processes that hit markets regularly. Some of these work very well while others are a complete fad. If you want to stay healthy, it is important to incorporate the right weight loss or health management techniques that help you to look great and feel great from within.

A must buy if you are looking to eat healthy meals

All of the recipes I have tried have been really good. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for some healthy new or different recipes. But for those looking to improve their overall health you must combine it with either his bigger leaner stronger or thinner leaner stronger books/exercise routines.

Every recipe is amazing!

Best cook book I've ever bought. I don't ever leave product reviews but I I feel I should for this one. Every recipe we've tried in his book has been great. I have purchased other cook books in the past and really only liked a few out of the book. Again, every recipe we've tried (we have tried a lot already) are all going to be added to our list of meals to have regularly.

A Must Have for Meal Prep!

The recipes are simple, some fairly quick to make which is great for a single mom. Ingredients are items I’ve heard of, most of which I have in my pantry already. I’m also excited that a lot of these are either gluten free or easily made gluten free for my daughter.
