The opposition should read this

I have not been a Trump fan, although I am Libertarian and definitely align with Republicans more than Democrats.
This book does an excellent job of portraying the Donald that the public is not shown.
I have to say that I have been forced to reevaluate my opinions of the man and methodology.
It is hard to divorce my abhorrence of his public persona from his actions and results, yet in this book I see a man who cares deeply about this country and it's people. I don't agree with his methodology but can not argue with the results.

My biggest beef with the author is he is unapologetically pro Trump. I would have enjoyed the book much more if he had inserted much less of his commentary and allowed the words and opinions of the principals to speak for themselves.

If you truly want to know who this president is and what makes him tick, I highly recommend this work.

WOW!!!

Thank you Mr. Wead for this fabulous book. So nice to hear firsthand information directly from our FIRST FAMILY. So sad that the MSM consistently tells us half truths and downright lies. Hope you will complete the story when President Trump finishes his second term. Yes, I am a deplorable but I hope no other POTUS (Democrat or Republican) is ever treated like this again.

Eye Opener

Just finished listening to this book and appreciate the information Mr Wead was able to share. I liked the way he presented the life of the Trump's. Amazing how much phony news is out there about this family. Hope Mr Wead will be able to finish the story of the Trump presidency after he leaves office.

Wonderful stories behind the scene and no more fake news

It’s a really well written book with language that are vivid and paint the picture. No more face news, I hear the battle the struggle and I see a family that worked hard for their beliefs. I wish there are more direct from President Trump, (so far I’m at the chapter which the Russian hoax just started) but these glimpses of stories at some historical moment, you can still see his colorful personality, which is almost exactly what he has shown in public, wit, humor, with great compassion for individuals. I start to understand why he is actually the blue collar billionaire, because he works to build things, and worked with ordinary people together listen to them to build things. There are few stories with just few sentence you can see why all the hoax there are pure evil and doesn’t adds up to the truth. The hash the family has have to go theory is terrible, I admire them for their fight and hard working in this war, and remember he and his family does not have to do this, it’s a call of duty that finality can’t hold back anymore by seen how this country has gone through. I also get a sense of actually how genius Trump might be, his deepest thought may never have reflected in his plain languages when facing public, but very strategic person.

I hope he is doing a follow-up later

If you need a break from all the "heads on fire" propaganda from the MSM, get this book. I got it expecting something to blow a credit on but this is my favorite book I purchased in 2019. I usually listen to audiobooks when I go to bed and I have to keep rewinding the following night because I dose off but I was so taken by this book that I couldn't go to sleep. I haven't had a book like that since Dinesh D'Souza's Stealing America.

It is odd to have a book about the inner workings of the Trump White House before his first term is even over but it is intriguing! I hope he is working on a follow-up for the end of his FIRST term. It's nice to hear the inside scoop from the entire family including Tiffany (who I now have much respect for). Get the book and thank me later.

Captures the Trump we've loved for decades

This is how everyone used to write about Trump - before he dared to take on the DC swamp.

"Journalists" loved him because he was always good for a story. The "glitterati" hated his rough edges, but they always invited him - maybe hoping his cachet would make their events more interesting. He was always good for a donation to their charities. Politicians wanted his favor because he had influence with everyday Americans - "his kind of people."

Everybody kissed his ass and sought to be associated with him. But then, he started slaying some political dragons and the campaign of personal destruction began.

This book reminds us of why we always liked this Trump guy before he ran for president. The big dreams, the sense of humor, the good business sense, the kindness, the brashness, the frustration with how our government runs which all of us shared. His energy seems boundless - he fixes things quickly, makes solid decisions and moves on to the next project. He doesn't like meetings any more now than he did when he wrote Art of the Deal, and he doesn't suffer snakes any more tolerant, either.

The personal interviews with the president, his family and staff give us a look into what it takes to fix the things which were so broken in our country - the whole family has paid a heavy price.

I would have preferred that the author read his own book - not because the narrator isn't good, because he is - but because the author is almost always better at it.

Very interesting and entertaining book.

A real American family

What a great book to listen to while at work. With all the negative news about Trump and his family this book is a refreshing true account of an American family working hard to make America great! God bless our President and his family and God bless Wead for finishing this book.
