A master at work.

This presentation by Patricia Fripp was exceptional even for the professional speaker
it incorporates narrative, tone, emphasis, preparation, expertise and most of all the desire
to help the new generation of speakers.

good but could have been great

some small things distracted and detracted for me
1) 59 minute book, but 15 minutes of intro blah blah. I really started to worry if actually she was going to get into techniques.
2) the slow emphasis - I know it was done for effect to extenuate the point but it starts to get annoying after a while as it feels like you are being treated as dumb

otherwise good tips, but would suggest it is not good enough as a stand alone book and you need another to go with it like Talk Like Ted or Steal the Show
