Would you listen to Inner Girl Rising again? Why?

You bet...the scenes were steamy and make you want to listen again and again.

What did you like best about this story?

Paisley started out as a carefree girl to a girl/woman in an abusive relationship. She manages to get out of the relationship but still has a fear that her ex husband will show up. She goes back to her "happy" place and reunites with Adam & Andrew and realizes that she can be happy again & with that knowledge, she realizes that she has enough strength to help put her ex husband behind bars for a long time after he sends his current girlfriend to the hospital.

What does Lacy Laurel bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

voices...makes you almost feel like you are in the scene not just reading it.

Not a fan of the narrator

I think the story would be easier to listen to if there was a different narrator.

A bear oh my, oops spoiler

This is a fun story. I almost gave it a 3 but the scenes with the bear notched it up to a 4.
The narrator does a pretty good job, however I would have liked to see a little more differences in the 2 males voice. Sometimes I got confused as to whom was speaking.

Story - Awesome, Narration - Lacking

Where does Inner Girl Rising rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I will need to get the print version to truly know just how much I like this book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Loved all the characters.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I didn't care for Lacy Laurel's narration of the story. She seemed to rush it and there wasn't much differentiation in the character voices. Unfortunately it took a bit away from the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Nope! I enjoyed the story from beginning to end, despite the narration.

Jan Springer wrote another great story but really needed a different person to narrate it. I would suggest reading the print version before listening to the audio.

This is my first menage audiobook and although the story was interesting and well narrated, it really wasn't for me. This is no reflection on the audiobook, just a personal choice. However, I would recommend this if you are a fan of the menage romance genre.

Paisley, Adam and Andrew had a relationship that didn't last. Now they are reunited and Adam and Andrew are on a mission to keep Paisley this time.

This book was entertaining and very steamy. It was fun to listen to a book with an alternative lifestyle and I though Jan Springer did it justice.

The narrator was good. I thought she pulled off the characters nicely however, with 2 male characters, it would have been nice to have more of a distinct male voice.

I requested to review this book from the author, narrator or publisher via Audiobook Boom.

Inner Girl Rising by Jan Springer was a great book. Paisley is a survivor of an abusive relationship. She decided to return to a place she once lived before. Paisley sees her two ex flames and decides to spark things up again. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by Jan Springer.

Narrator is terrible!

I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes of it. Narrator sounds like a robot. It sounds like 1 giant sentence with no breaks. Can't even tell where the dialog is. The pacing also too fast to hear what she is saying. Change the Narrator and I might actually be able to read the story.
