Beryl Meyer is a bum magnet. Her latest bum boyfriend was responsible for sending Beryl to prison for a crime she didn’t commit. Tired of bad relationships and sworn off men, Beryl learns that she’s inherited an old inn on Summer Island. She plans on selling the rundown house in order to start a new life, but when she arrives on the island, she discovers that she’s only inherited half of the inn, and the other half now belongs to an ornery and hot ex-navy SEAL. Thor Stockman wants to run the inn, throwing a wrench into Beryl’s plans. Now she’s stuck in the inn, even though she wants out, and her vow to keep away from men is being tested by the hot hunk in the next room.

Inn & Out is the hot and hilarious second novella in the Three More Wishes series. Each novella in the series has no cliffhanger.

laugh out loud funny!

I wasn't not expecting this book to be as good as it was. I knew it would be light hearted, , just not as good as it was. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a light read.
I guess this is book 2 of a series. I had no idea till the end and the author said something in the side notes. So its a stand alone book. I am going to go back and read the others now.

narration was excellent.

Cute Listen!

Beryl thinks she's finally hit a streak of good luck when she inherits an inn from an unknown relative. Newly released from prison for a crime she didn't commit, she makes her way to Summer Island to sell the property and live a life of luxury on the proceeds. When she arrives, she learns that she'll be splitting the inheritance with dreamy ex-navy SEAL Thor, and he has no plans to sell the property. They need to work together to restore the inn before Thor can buy her out, but things get complicated as sparks fly.

This was a standalone novella set on Summer Island. It was a fun listen with plenty of standout characters. While I usually love Sax's quirky heroines with their hilarious inner ramblings, I had a harder time liking Beryl. She came off more annoying than quirky. Luckily Thor more than made up for it, and there were plenty of laugh out loud moments while they're fixing up the inn. I love a good makeover story, whether it's a person or a property, and this one was really cute.

Angie Hickman was the perfect narrator for this story, as usual, and put me right there in the story. I requested a copy of the audiobook, and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.

Funny and heart warming.

It strikes me that there doesn't seem to be a explanation for the stars that are given. So I thought I'd start giving my take on it.
1 horrible no redeeming qualities. So far I've never given a 1.
2 blah but there are redeeming qualities.
3 ok worth reading.
4 great but there's something off.
5 loved it.

So now about this story. I can't wait for more of this series, I want to say more about this story but I absolutely hate spoilers, so I won't do it to you by going into details.

Not my cup of tea.

Would you recommend Inn & Out to your friends? Why or why not?

Maybe.

What about Angie Hickman’s performance did you like?

Angie Hickman's narration was spot on. I enjoyed listening to her voice despite the story not being my cup of tea.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No

Any additional comments?

This book was a bit too much for my tastes. I found the female character just...too much. The story line is a good one and I would suggest this book to my friends who like this type of writing. Give it a shot, you might just like it.

Sweet Slightly Off-Beat Laughter

I loved this sweet slightly off-beat romance. Listening to their disasters and successes made me smile and just really enjoy my time while listening. This was a great quick listen and Elise and Angie are a wonderful team I love listening to.

Inn & Out Review...

Can see this author as an early-career Janet Evanovich - didn’t laugh out loud, but saw the potential. Female character babbled just a bit too much to be legit LOL. Narration was good for both genders. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Laugh out loud funny

I loved the five little wishes series so I'm really happy that the fun of Summer Island and the wishing well hasn't ended and there's another series to come (and perhaps if I keep my fingers crossed another series after that).

Meet Beryl, just released from prison and Thor a retired Navy Seal, sparks fly from their first meeting and Beryl wants none of it. What follows is a story that made me laugh out loud several time, a story I will definitely be listening to again, it too goo not to.

The narration is excellent, great character voices, and somehow, Angie manages to make the quirky parts quirkier and the funny parts funnier.

More than I expected

Beryl inherits an old run down Inn from her aunt. What she didn't expect was to only inherit half ownership of the Inn. Will Thor, a sexy ex-seal, be enough to make her want to stay around and fix up the Inn to run it with him? Or will her bad experiances with men, one who set her up and landed her in prison, cause her to keep her word about never wanting another man in her life?

The narrator has done a wonderful job narrating this audible by bringing life to the characters.

I received this audible free of cost and am more than happy to leave my honest unbiased reveiw
