Another Robin Carr excellent read/listen

Therese Plummer has teamed with Ms. Carr to present several books in several series -- all uniformly excellent books to read and to listen to.

I always regret when I've finished the last book in an intriguing series, and listen to each on (out of order) many more times. Knowing the story's end doesn't reduce the pleasure of repeating the experience. Plus, I seem to discover nuances and find tidbits that point the way to further understanding of what is to come. In a way, this makes me a more literate, competent reader/listener as I ask myself, "Why does the writer put in this sequence of events, or add details to a descriptions?"

Highly recommended!

Compelling from day one!!

I loved the story line. The poor young mom rescued from a house fire. She was an estranged heiress. The fireman that rescued her was smitten with her at first sight. Plus her daughter reminded him of his deceased wife and child. This family needed him and he wanted to feel needed. He uncharacteristically offered them his home. They fell in love. But when the truth came out about her money, he couldn’t live with that. He needed someone who depended on him. So they had a huge fight about it. And she was prepared to fly back to her aunts house in Chicago. As they were getting ready to board the plane, she realized that he was really a great man and that was their first real fight. they would both have to make compromises. But somehow they could try to work it out. He wanted to try all along. She was the one who didn’t figure it out until boarding the plane.

My only complaint about the book is that the author only gave us less than 10 minutes of the reconciliation. So we don’t know if she stayed with him. We don’t know if they were able to work it out. I would’ve liked another hour devoted to that portion of the story so we could have some closure.

I cannot believe how wonderful this narrator is. It’s very unusual to find a narrator who can actually do so many different voices so expertly . I had no trouble figuring out which character was speaking. Awesome job!

I highly recommend this book.

Easy and fun read

This was a quick and easy get your fix of a love story, also the journey of a single mother gaining her footing on her own.

I Loved This!

What a Great Story! I just can’t get enough of Robyn Carr’s books and Terese Plummer’s narration. This was a very very Sweet story. One to remember for sure. You won’t be sorry.

Another wonderful book by my favorite author. A book to make you smile and maybe like Auntie Flo at the end.

Avid listener

Robyn Carr never disappoints. Her books are worth listening to. Therese Plummer is so easy to follow as characters change. Her characters very expressive and recognizable. I always enjoy the storyline and outcomes.

I feel in love eith all the characters. I want more of them. How Little Mike snd Crissy work out. What is Aunt Flo doing and her marriage. I need more.. Great story line
