Eileen Sharp and Vic Hightower were frustrated. After years of profitable, predictable growth, Swan Services was in a rut. Meetings were called and discussions held, but few decisions were made and even less got done. People were pointing fingers and assigning blame, but nothing happened to solve Swan’s mounting problems. It felt as though they were working harder than ever but with less impact. The company Eileen and Vic had founded and built for 10 years was a different place. It just wasn’t fun anymore.

Not bothered by Narration because the content is so awesome!
Reading a lot of the reviews makes me sad and also it is quite peculiar that the reciprocity principle that he spoke about did not happen in this case. I feel obliged to give him 5 stars throughout because the contents of the book is so brilliant! With the ability to speed it up, I don’t see why anyone would have an issue with it being ‘slow’ at all.

An in depth view of influence
Enjoyed the in depth look at influence and the chapter summaries. I listened at 1.2x speed since the reader is a bit slow for my taste.

Amazing book. Reads soooo slow
I listened to the book on 1.7x because he reads slowly. At the higher speed it was still easy to understand and enjoyable!

Great Book and Information
The information in this book is really fascinating! It’s incredible to see things differently that others have done or even things I have done without realizing why I was doing it. The narration is a little slow but I found putting the audio on 1.3x speed helped tremendously. Overall would definitely recommend to others.
