Not for me..
At 48% I quit
There was just too much sexual crap going on in this book and it kept interfering with the story. I mean, really! Alec and Isabel are out looking at where her brother, Vin, was murdered and they’re kissing? She’s supposed to be all upset over his death but she was not so upset that it would stop her from kissing the guy she thought covered up Vin’s death AND she just met 2 days before. Totally ridiculous!!
As to the narration: When you have a military group of men you really do need a male narrator! Nicol Zanzarella is not very good at men’s voices so I couldn’t listen to it all. I read Concrete Evidence and that narrator was terrible, too. There’s just certain books that don’t need female narrators and this series is one of them.

Another brilliant Rachel Grant book
Again Rachel Grant has nailed it. The book has mystery, intrigue, passion, emotion and romance. The characters are amazing they are written with depth and consistency, there are true alpha men who aren’t threatened by intelligent capable women.
The chemistry is built and developed so that it is believable and the settings are detailed and draw the reader in. I now want to visit Alaska.
Great book to get lost in for a few hours, couldn’t put it down.

The Audible is really fantastic
This review is for both the ebook and the Audible. The Audible made a excellent book into an even more enjoyable escape from reality.
Archaeologist Isabel Dawson, a character briefly mentioned in Night Owl, came to Tamarack, AK shortly after the death of her older brother, Vin. Vin worked for Raptor as a trainer for military troops before they are deployed overseas. Raptor has investigated Vin's death and determined it to be a tragic accident. Isabel believes it was murder. And she has moved to Tamarack to prove it.
The details of Vin's death are a central plotline to the book so in order not to give out spoilers, all I can say is Wow! Didn't see that coming. Now, you need to go get the ebook AND Audible and read/listen to it.
The male lead in this book is Raptor CEO Alec Ravissant, who is currently running for a Senate seat in Maryland. He comes to Tamarack because the facility has been having trouble with a woman, Isabel, that is trying to get Raptor to reopen the investigation into her brother's death. Unfortunately for her, she was arrested for trespassing on Raptor land and interrupting a training exercise with LIVE bullets. She gets hit with a restraining order to stay away from Raptor land. Which is hard to do since she is doing an archaeological survey on land that is next to Raptor land.
While out doing a survey, she comes across an unconscious man. She is able to give him some medical aid but she is unable to do more because her car is five miles away and she cannot carry or drag him to her car. However, there is an abandoned cabin nearby she can take him to for the night. Unfortunately for her, it's on Raptor land. But who is going to report her. Not the unconscious man she dragged nearly a mile. Then she suddenly realizes that the man in question is Raptor CEO Alec Ravissant, who is there to try to resolve several issues, one of which is her.
The rest of the book moves fast and involves several situations that are not only alarming but all tied to the main plotline. As for Isabel and Alec, talk about combustible chemistry. But then again what else could you expect from two very strong characters.
I highly recommend this book and the Audible. It's the perfect combination.

Saving the enemy.
She'd tried to get justice for her brother. It wasn't an accident. He was too good at what he did to die the of exposure. No one would listen. Then she found the man. She'd have to drag him over the frozen ground back to the cabin she'd seen. He was huge but she couldn't let him die--even if he was the one who ignored her demands to investigate her brother's death.
Enemy to lover. He was wealthy and a former Army Ranger. Now he owned a Mercenary company and was running for the Senate. He wasn't her friend. She'd get him to listen--that is if she got out of jail for saving him. Right. She drags his big self to safety and...
The heat is with them. Enemies or not they have something between them. Will they have live to find out what?
I enjoyed the audio, the narration, and the parts I read of the book. I found out it is a series and I'll be checking out the other books as well.

B+ for both the story and narration!
I gave this audiobook a B+ for both the story and narration at AudioGals.
Narrated by Nicol Zanzarella
As a romantic suspense title that will cause you to question just who your allies and enemies truly are, Incriminating Evidence is sure to pique your curiosity. This title delivers more than just suspense, with an interesting enemies- to-lovers romantic plot that takes up equal, or near equal, time in its development as the suspense angle. Additionally, for the audiobook lovers, the narration by the talented Nicol Zanzarella makes this a good romantic suspense title to enjoy in audiobook format.
Isabel Dawson is determined to uncover the true reason why her older brother Vin died. His death has been ruled a training accident, as he was employed by a paramilitary organization named Raptor and was on their training compound in Alaska when he died. However, she is convinced that Vin’s death was no accident – it was murder. Vin died while on the land owned by Raptor, and the Raptor CEO, Alec Ravissant (a former army ranger turned politician who is running for a Senate seat in Maryland), is blocking her attempts to obtain more information about circumstances surrounding his death. The situation has gotten so heated that Alec has even obtained a restraining order prohibiting Isabel from going on Raptor land.
But Isabel is a determined woman as well as an archaeologist who is used to solving mysteries. So she ignores the restraining order, determined to find a cave that Vin mentioned to her and which she is convinced holds the evidence she needs to prove his murder. What Isabel could never have counted on, however, was stumbling upon her nemesis, Alec Ravissant, while exploring the land. Moreover, Alec has been attacked and is unconscious giving her no option but to help him. She’s so tough, in fact, that she creates a makeshift device (travois) to pull his body miles in the cold Alaskan terrain to a small shelter. Without her aid, he would have frozen to death. However, when he wakes up, he pays her back not with thanks, but by having her arrested!
But as Alec begins to regain his strength and starts to do some digging of his own, he starts to see that Isabel may just have been right all along, and even more distressing, given her undoubtedly negative effect on his campaign, undeniably alluring. So Alec reaches out to Isabel who, though skeptical, is also not willing to lose an opportunity to bring closure to her brother’s case. But can they really trust each other? Thus begins a journey where they begin to uncover a number of clues. But not everything is as it seems. Can Alec and Isabel discover the truth before danger looms in and gets one or both of them? Moreover, could there possibly be a HEA in the cards for this couple?

Incriminating Evidence
I enjoyed this book the most of all the "Evidence" books I've read so far. I'm not always a fan of the "enemies to lovers" trope, but this one was handled very well. And while the man was commanding & in control most of the time, he wasn't a jerk about it. 👍
