A Novella with a lot to enjoy & great narration!

I loved this fun Novella by Casey Cline! It's got so much going on and with the narration of Noah Wall of the book, it was a great adventure! I turned it on while I was doing my cleaning and found myself thrilled with the story of Violet Stm James and William Montgomery set in 1866 in the town of Dearborn, Colorado. This is a short story but the story line was not rushing to a finish but gave the mystery surrounding Violet, who came to teach, and the busy job of William, and the mystery surrounding both of them, as the story unfolded. The adventure, chaos, mystery and then the final ending surprised even me!

I was given an ALC by the author but all my thoughts & opinions are my own! I highly recommend this audiobook to those wanting a fun & surprising story to enjoy.

I listened to it at 1.2x speed and found it was very enjoyable!

Beautifully written with vivid descriptions. The story draws you in quickly and delivers a charming, suspenseful read with great characters and some exciting twists.

A delightful quick read

If you are looking for a quick western read this book is for you! I really enjoyed it. the relationship between the couple is sweet. The drama is detailed enough and enough they're that you are satisfied, but it doesn't take up too much time in the 2 hour audiobook. One if my favorite parts is that she's the hero! Hurray!! I love that! Give it a read and the audio narrator did a great job! I enjoyed her voices and the emotion she added to the story.

Full of action, entertainment, and kisses!

This was a well-written novella. I believe this is Casey Cline's debut story. With a great plot, well-developed characters, swoony kissing scenes, and an action-packed climax, this quick read will provide you with plenty of entertainment.

There are no swears or alcohol, and level 2 kisses only. Dual POV.

The audiobook is narrated by Noah Wall and, as always, she does a stupendous job.
