Good Creepy Fun
I was given this audiobook for my honest review.
I've got to say I really enjoyed the short story In The Vault. The story teller does a great job. You feel like your really really there I highly recommend this or any short stories by HP Lovecraft.

An Aural Gem
"In the Vault" was a super treat for my ears. I loved the spooky story by H.P. Lovecraft but to hear it the way K. Anderson Yancy performed it was a real treat. I thought the SonicMovie style was exceptional and I look forward to listening to more. I was able to close my eyes and get the real feel of the story. It really enhances an already good story and makes it great.
All I can think is WOW! I even listened to it twice so far. Loved it. It is indeed like listening to a movie. A Sonic Movie. I would definitely recommend giving this a listen.

One of Lovcraft's best...done at it's worst
What did you like best about In the Vault? What did you like least?
I loved the story, having read quite a plethora of HP Lovecraft in my spare time. Sadly I couldn't stand the way it was narrated/presented. When every letter "S" left me attempting to wipe spittle from my face, I sort of felt like Yosemite Sam had taken over narration.

THough I wasn't a fan of the way it was presented, I think it is a sound (ha! puns!) concept. It likely works amazingly well for some genres/stories.

Too many sounds effects...
While some sounds effects and the right music can add to a story, the number of effects used and their poor timing in this performance take away from the story, making it difficult to understand and enjoy.
