The plot is interesting and fun!

I really enjoyed the descriptions of the character’s mindsets and physical descriptions. The atmosphere of the places in the story was intriguing. I would have preferred this read by a live person, a.i can’t capture the nuances of dialogue as a person could. While there are 1 or 2 discontinuities in the plot, overall this was a fun read.

Everything about this book is bad…..

There is no romance in this entire book. It’s just a man abusing a woman, forcing himself on her beating her and at the end she’s like I guess it’s fine. And this is for the author : I don’t know why you would write this. You clearly need to go see a therapist.

I tried I really did but this was traumatizing af and poorly written I’m halfway through and truly considering not finishing once again OMG WTF

I tried to get through this. Really tried, but I couldn't. Now the enemies to lovers and forced proximity tropes were the vibes I got, but not even halfway through I couldn't listen anymore. In particular, the scene after she was out and had a conversation with an old classmate/college friend. That was my breaking point with this book.
