Publisher's Summary
How women can improve their productivity, happiness, and physical well-being by keeping their natural cycles in mind and working with them (rather than ignoring them).
In the FLO teaches women how to use their 28-day cycle to optimise their life by letting their internal clock and natural rhythms guide time management, diet, fitness, etc. (This is so simple and yet under-utilised it is shocking. It makes perfect sense when you think about it: You have different energy levels at different times of the month, different libido levels, etc., so why not use foresight to plan projects for when you are at your most effective and understand when you need more emotional connection with others?)
There are specific tips on what to eat and how to exercise depending on what phase you are in - and it works. Women are getting promotions, losing weight, and, in one case thus far, literally clearing their endometriosis by using the cycle syncing method.

A 9 hour long sales pitch for wellness junk
The concept is interesting and certainly would be useful for some women but the book really drags because of the constant push to spend more money buying the app or wellness programmes online ( some of which cost several hundred dollars). There are better books with more helpful information and less self-promotion. I don’t think I’ll be recommending this to anyone.

As a male I find it pretty interesting!
I'm going to give it 5 stars since I'm male and I assume it's written to affect female audience more than male. But I think it would be a good idea to make some shorter version for male audience since there are some details males are just not as interested in as females.
Non the less it was really interesting, since I allready had some ideas about this stuff on my own, by being in relationship and taking some time to "analize" partner's behavior and mood changes.
Can't wait to see more news about this domain of research and I hope to see changes in the working environment!

Absolutely loved it !
This book was helping me a lot with fixing my PMS pains, which by the way disappeared after making only minor changes recommended in the book. But also, it gave me insight into how amazing the female body is. This book makes women feel proud of themselves, their body, instrad of ashamed. The text has feminist undertones which I love, and Alisa Vitti is great at narrating her book. The accompanying PDF is great because otherwise you couldn't remember all the info.

Would have preferred the science without feminism
I love the concept of this and apply it to myself with great results. The science facts are much more interesting to me than the feminist opinions that are threaded throughout the whole book...but if you can wade through that there are some great gems.

Shame about the quackery…
I found the concept very interesting and I think some of the author’s observations were acute and insightful- especially her commentary on feminist issues in women’s health. Unfortunately the science backing many of her claims was often based on cherry-picked studies or outright pseudoscience. The author repeats a lot of wild promises about her method, without offering much concrete instruction or information, and often directs readers to her website or app “to find out more”… where they can pay hundreds for courses or overdosed health supplements. I’m sad to say I was disappointed.

Most helpful book I've ever read
This book is filled with answers to questions I've been asking for years: why do I suffer acne STILL when I'm over 30, why am I putting on weight the more I exercise, why does my period suck so much? It's also filled with so much information I didn't know I needed. Vitti is super clear and easy to understand.

Dwelled too much on feminism, it wasn't empowering
Should it discuss why women's health has been overlooked for a long time? yes, but maybe just in the first chapter and then proceed to empower and educate us on the wisdom of syncing with our cycles. The most important part which is meals and exercise based on each phrase is way oversimplified and the rest of the 9 hours is just blaming men for all our issues. Some parts are based on scientific research but others are just weird statements clearly not supported by evidence. I'm so glad I had 2 children before I read this look, some sections can leave some women feeling scared and worried when they shouldn't be, like saying if you drink coffee you'll have fertility issues (and like that many other statements of the sort). I recommend the book 'Doing Less' by Kate Northrup if you want to be empowered and understand our unique cyclical super power. I thought I was a feminist until I listened to this audio book
