In His World (An Interracial BWWM Dark Romance Novel)

We both had dark, secret demons. But our love was what connected us, kept us fighting, and kept us alive. They had always taught me the world was full of evil and racist white folks who would tear me down, but I was ready to venture out and stand up for myself. Really Bad

Virtual Narration was terrible, but the story itself was also weak. The FMC trades one life of oppression/abuse for another with a "tortured" man.

Virtual voice makes this impossible to finish

I’ve never tried to listen to anything with a virtual voice and now I know I’ll never try that again. I can’t even finish the story. It’s like one long sentence.

The Secrets

Slow movement for me. Maybe is actually narrators performance I would have enjoyed this story more.
