Couldn't get into the story

Found myself rolling my eyes way too often. More snippets than anything you could really build on. Finally just gave up and didn't finish.

Not what I had invisioned

First time authors for me and I can't say I really enjoyed this story. I can't blame the narrator for the words that were written...
I found that it was all about sex and not enough about the crime.
Leo did go to I believe it was Florida to investigate a serial killer who stalks his victims through the internet. That's why the FBI needed an analyst.
Leo uncovers that the serial killer is stalking a young novelist Mona who is not to keen on the idea of Leo staying with her for her protection.
What rubbed me the wrong way is that yes, Mona has some really erotic fantasies but for her to bow down and let Leo control her within minutes of meeting?
What I did enjoy was the parts into the killers mind... now that was good and my only reason for the 3stars.
I listened to this for an honest review.

Narration Not For Me

I listened to the audio book. I think I would have done better reading this book. The narration was very off putting. It was almost cartoonish.

The story had some interest in terms of the serial killer, the search for him, and the FBI agent's first time in the field. The romance between Leo and Mona didn't have much development and occurred much later in the book than I expected. It seemed like the FBI discovered Mona and suddenly Leo and Mona were in a relationship.

The beginning with Mona, the online Doms, and the whole self spanking sounded kind of dumb. It may have come across differently in the written word, but audibly, it was silly.

It was a little interesting. Going back and forth between Mona writings and Mona online dating escapades. Other than that I quite enjoyed listening to the story. The relationships between Leo and Mona was fantastic. I like the way Leo dominated Mona.

I love Morganna Williams books, especially the audiobook.

Great plot

I really have to give Morganna kudos for writing books that are just the right length for a one sitting relaxing afternoon indulgence. This was a great story with interesting characters and a plot with wonderful dominance and intertwined suspense. I thrive on FBI story lines the twists in this novel are ongoing escalate to an grand conclusion. I don't want to add a spoiler so I will stop there. Ken did an incredible job with the narration. I look forward to listening to him narrate in the future.

Twists and turns!

This is a story combines a crime story and erotica. The crime story involves a serial killer. The authors have many twists and turns that I never saw coming. Just when you think you have it figured out something new is revealed. Mona inadvertently becomes one of his targeted victims and Leo is determined to protect her. This begins their erotic relationship and the scenes are hot. I wish we could have read more about the love between them. The narrator does a great job of portraying these characters emotions and evil facing them or in them. I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review.

worst story ever

Let me tell you upfront. The H does not even meet or sleep with the. h till over halfway thru. He has sex with another woman for the first half. Sorry. Not a great story at all. The couple should of had a whole book to grow together not the last quarter of the book. Returning it as I type.
