Romance and intrigue!

There is nothing better than when an author can take real life problems and integrate them into a well written story. Patricia D. Eddy has a knack for doing it with this series and has me completely hooked! This story gives us Royce, owner of Emerald City Security as he heals from brain tumor surgery and a stroke. He is a strong man, but now with his limitations is very vulnerable. Inara is a sharpshooter, working for a private company and she suffers from PTSD. With similar pasts, they have much in common and are able to understand and relate to each other. This love affair is captivating, taking true life issues and bringing them to the forefront. But not only is this a love story, the impending dangers that occur are not to be ignored. High action and suspense keep you on the edge of your seat as you listen.

This narration by Aiden Snow and Grace Grant is astonishing. Snow's performance of Royce, with speech and health problems is so believable, you would think that it was his normal pace of narration. Grant gives voice to Inara with grit and passion. Between the two, you would think they were the actual characters telling us the story. Loved this team, and it's a must listen!

Wow - just wow

I cannot get enough of this series!! Inara and Royce are two completely broken individuals that need each other to piece themselves back together. But can you support another person while you yourself keep falling apart? Highly emotional and highly captivating. I think I have found me new go to series to listen to again and again as Aiden Snow and Grace Grant could not have brought this story to life any better.

In her sights

I love that the author chose to use a strong female character. She was definitely a hero! Fun military style story! Great narration.

Action and Romance Combine in this Well Done Audio

Intense and filled with action, this is one romance that I couldn't put down. Here we meet Royce and Inara, and both have scars. Some of these are obvious, but some not. It's great to get to know both characters here, and I'm intrigued enough that I want to look up other books in the series. The writing is excellent, and the narrators do a fantastic job as well. This is a voluntary review of a gifted copy.

Strong characters, great story!

Once again, Patricia Eddy delivers complex characters suffering from PTSD and folds them flawlessly into a story that is interesting, exciting and brings focus to the struggles with chronic pain, anxiety, and folding back into civilian life. I really enjoyed this story and quickly moved through the rest of the series. Narration by Aiden Snow and Grace Grant is excellent! Very passionate performances with good variation for each character.

One of my favorites

Books 2-6 in this series are my favorite! I am listening to them for the third time since January. Incant get enough!!! Great story, great narration. Just amazing! I recommend them to literally everyone!

more than blood, bullets, and buds

Patricia Eddy wrote a book that exceeded my expectations. I love it when an author is able to cross genres of romance, suspense, and action. The story was excellent and the twists kept coming.
I felt the narration was spot one with the POV narration. Both Aiden Snow and Grace Grant added so much to the book, with how they performed their parts. I will definitely listen to more books by the author and narrators, I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review,

You are fool if you don't read this series

OMG, I have found a new author!! I started with book 3 and had to go back and buy the series, both in kindle and audio. OMG, Aiden Snow? All I'm there, so I switched to audible. At this point can't get enough! Ganna listen to 3 again!! Love this series, when I am done, I WILL STALK YOU!! Thank you for your talent!
