Life lessons of an old woman

Turning scars into stars

Talk about serendipity. I wrote about being in God’s waiting room when I was sequestered at home alone during my convalescence and now everyone on the globe is sequestered to their home and all of us are “in God’s waiting room”. You will discover the same magical love that I found when we take time and have conversations and listen to our soul.

It took being in bed for 12 months and graduating hospice and the challenge of dying to give Ailill the courage to share his wisdom gained from hardship and heartache. From the perspective of a crazy, wacky grandmother who has so much love in her heart she hardly knows what to do with it, she chooses to shower the whole world with every ounce she can muster. Ailill's journaling openly shares her naked vulnerability of how her life reads like she did everything wrong but ended up right. Ailill was forced to stop and look at the great power her secrets had over her and how diminished she had become.

Her illness wasn't her first tragedy: Two daughters died of cancer, her brother died last month, her husband died of an accidental overdose at age 52 after years in recovery, and her adult children hated and blamed her because she was their alcoholic mother. Her 40 years of being a counselor, educator, and healer never prepared her for all that was to come.

From the perspective of her old crone self, she embodied instinctive ways of channeling wisdom, inner knowing, and intuitions as she recognized the guidance she received in the transitions of her life. This book is a gift to everybody who is doing life. It is the core of all spiritual truths; the unity of God is the unity of humanity.

Awesome

Audio books are all about good narration. Without that a good book can be a dud to listen to. Jaimee Moore makes me want to listen to the table of contents. She gets the characters so well.
