Susie is off this week, but wants you to enjoy a show from 2004. In this episode, Susie looked at the rather strange history of the dildo. While vibrators have long been recognized as "marital aids", the dildo's heyday didn't really arrive until the '80s, when a man from Brooklyn named Gosnell Duncan started making silicon dildos - he even named one The Susie! - and the revolution began. Susie explains how it all got started and where you can find the best dildos around.
Next, in keeping with the phallic theme, Susie reads a story by Geoffrey A. Landis from Best American Erotica 2004 entitled "Old Tengo's Penis".
