Susie starts off today's show with a labyrinth of ethical questions concerning a caregiver and a client falling in love. A professor of ethics at Rutgers University became involved with a severely disabled man while she was working with him. He could not speak, and she used "facilitated communication" - keyboard typing, with physical assistance from the professor - as a way for him to communicate. She thought they were falling in love. But his family thought the miraculous things he was saying sounded a lot like the way middle-class white women talk. The story only gets more disturbing from there.

Finally, it's "What's New on Audible". Susie has a book to recommend for survivors of sexual assault. Healing Sex by Staci Haines, narrated by Traci Odom, helps traumatized people take a mind-body approach to regaining their sex lives.
