I love Susie!

I've been listening to In Bed with Susie Bright for two years now and can honestly say that she is a god(dess) send. Funny, articulate, provocative, challenging, grounded, pragmatic - Susie has, once again, helped me find my sexual centre. Keep on rockin', Susie!

Informative, Reliable, Entertaining

Susie Bright is truly a sex expert. In the sometimes confusing world of sex information, she is the one source that I always trust. Her program is always entertaining and sometimes a lot of fun. Her guests are not to be missed as they are always knowledgeable and thought provoking, and often full of humor. Thank you, Susie, you are greatly appreciated.

BORING!!! BORING!!!!! BORING!!!! EVEN MORE BORING

I would describe this show by the following words monotonous, tedious, irksome, tiresome and humdrum.I don't understand how two supposed sex experts can dummies down the subject and make this podcast sound more like a class room experience. What a time waster That is not what I am looking for in this podcast series.

Very misleading title

There is nothing about Performance Anxiety here. This sounded like a political discourse until the last four minutes.

I did not know him.

What disappointed you about In Bed with Susie Bright?

I did not know this gentleman. So the whole show was about someone I did not know of Susie I do like you but I do not do homework. So tell me do you have any other show you wish to do this. Maybe I should send you recordings of friends that have passed away. I did always look forword to your shows. That has passed now. Seldom Wright

What was most disappointing about Susie Bright’s story?

Will this happen each time a friend passes?

Hoping for more...

What disappointed you about In Bed with Susie Bright?

I was really hoping that this episode would provide general parenting advice about how and when a parent should educate their kids about sex, especially since the descriptions illustrated that parents tend to educate their kids in such a way that the kids repeat their parents mistakes. There are many opinions about this topic, and I was hoping to find an expert that can provide a balanced view. Though she does stress the importance of an open mind if the child proclaims they are homosexual or are in love with someone of another race, I didn't get the sort of guidance I was hoping for. Certainly not $6 worth.

Has In Bed with Susie Bright turned you off from other books in this genre?

In short, yes. In Bed with Susie Bright is mostly a talk show in which she talks about her own views, and is not as educational as I'd hoped.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

N/A

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

This episode did cause me to think about how I would feel if my kids said they were homosexual or hooked up with someone of another race. I can sympathize with the other parents that she talks about ("how could you do this to me?" or "where did I go wrong?"), and that has caused me to think again about what I really want for my kids and the ethical dilemmas involved.

Any additional comments?

Though I wouldn't go so far as to say this episode has no value, I didn't feel I got $6 of value out of this.

Lots of hype and self adulation. Not much content

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Perhaps those who have listened to other informative episodes may enjoy listening to caller after caller after caller congratulating Susie for her 500th episode. I didn't.

What was most disappointing about Susie Bright’s story?

I read the reviews of numerous interesting sounding episodes and decided to try one to see if these are as good as the reviews suggest. Well what better episode than her 500th that apparently contains Susie's highlights and gets a 5.0 rating from her reviewers! Right? Wrong! If you can get through the countless callers at the start who congratulate Susie then you should be into the meaty stuff. Right? Wrong. With the greatest of respect to Susie's departed father I really didn't expect to find at the start of a highlights real her father singing an Indian love song, out of key and incomprehensible. I can understand this has special significance for Susie and belongs in her treasure trove of sentimental moments with her father. But on a public best of the best real? Anyway if you still haven't switched off you'll now be into the great stuff that Susie's other reviewers refer to. Right? Wrong! Another barrage of self adulation with caller after caller congratulating Susie. Groan!!!!! How did I last this far? No more please. Off goes the podcast never to be endured again.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from In Bed with Susie Bright?

Cut all the congratulatory callers and make up a free one to be provided with any S&M dungeon torture kit.

Any additional comments?

If I was to take another chance with my valuable time and listen to another episode or two, which ones would you recommend? Please don't tell me there's a 300th or 400th celebratory episode or I'll see through your thinly disguised warped sense of humor!

Still on the fence

I have only listened to two episodes of this and I am still on the fence. It is definitely what I thought this broadcast would be about. I find myself giggling at times during the show but then sometimes I feel very bored. I have to say that with the last episode I have listened to I leaned more towards the liking it. I guess I thought It was going to be more like Talk Sex with Sue or that sexline with Dr.Drew and Adam Carrola. I loved those shows and this is really nothing like those shows so I guess I will continue to listen and will offer another review once I have come to a full conclusion.
