I was hurt and disappointed by Claire and Ethan. They broke the rules had remorse and broke them again. That tells me there's no remorse. The further I listened the more frustrated and incensed I became. They fed into each other's obsession with the other. Claire was like a viper coming with one liners to tease Ethan into deceit. He's in hospice. He's in terminal care. She xalled when she promised no more. She kept the pot stirred and the fires stoked. Ethan was just as compliant with his lies to Jess and his kids. He constantly gaslight Jess, then acted like it was her fault he left. It was painful to see him fake out his wife for an affair that never ended . Liars win Truth equal broken heart in this one. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life. I had a great deal of disgust for these the lying lovers and think karma will come again.
