Publisher's Summary

In Improve Your Social Skills: A Practical Guide to Stop Anxiety, Build Self-Esteem (Love Yourself), Be Quiet with Nonviolent Communication, and How to Really Be an Empath by Saying No When It’s Needed, the author gives explicit instructions and different ways to create a better you and with that, a better way of life for yourself.

Starting from the beginning, we will learn about negativity and why it is the worst possible enemy you can encounter on your journey to a better lifestyle. You will see how anxiety can be used as a tool to allow you to turn negative thoughts into positive thoughts. You will see how negative thoughts will

  • Cause a distortion of reality
  • Lead to negative feelings
  • Cause physical ailments
  • Become your worst enemy
  • Ruin your life

But once we learn how to turn negative thoughts into positive thoughts, we can learn how to get to that way of thinking. There are certain rituals and roles that can be followed and should be followed daily to increase our sense of self-worth and give us a better sense of self-esteem. These are outlined in this audiobook. We will learn what the law of attraction really is and how to use it to your best advantage.

Great resource!

This book has value whether you are seeking new friendships, a romantic partner or improved business relationships. It has value if you are just looking to get more from your day to day life experiences. For me, it even had value in helping me break past emotional associations to experiences.
As the author will tell you, reading the book, even understanding the concepts, will not improve your experiences unless you commit and take action.

I really enjoyed this book.

I really enjoyed this book. It tells things plainly and simply without the “hacks” you might find in some other “social improvement” books. I found a lot of tried and tested true principles in here, summarized for you to apply into your life simply and easily.

I really appreciated the writers perspective.

I really enjoyed the writer's approach and in the forward said you need to change your mindset. This is not a quick fix but rather a slow process of change and this book is a beginning step to improving your social skills. It is setting realistic goals taking baby steps and reevaluating the situation and deciding what went right or wrong and how to change that. I really appreciated the writers perspective.

I feel much better about myself .

I feel much better about myself after reading it and applying it. I noticed the people respond to me better as well, especially at work. I will read it again because I'm sure I missed some important details but so far, it's been great. I highly recommend this book.

Nice book.

A very well written guide on improving social skills. The approach is firm yet not unkind. In fact, the author is very considerate in their way of hiding the reader to better understand the ways they can improve their social wellbeing.

Very interesting book.

Different social skill types are very well examined, as well as the possible problems that might come up if someone lacks the social skills and confidence. Also, there is a great number of tips on how to handle the problem. Honestly, the most important part of the book is the social skills for kids, because it is much easier for them to improve their confidence and sociability. Great book, highly recommended for shy and uncertain people.

Social Skills are a challenge.

Social Skills are a challenge. I especially love that they included activities for those who are non-verbal, this is a huge need.

Outstanding.

This book is outstanding, incredibly well-organized and well-written. It is extremely useful for people of all ages. The material is presented in such a natural and non-judgemental way. This book won't tell you things like "be a good listener and interested in people" to make friends. This book comes with direct answers to any social question I have ever had. I appreciate learning these skills, so I can socialize, better.

Good guidance.

This book gives step by step guidance from a lot of different angles on how to accomplish confidence in social situations. I love it when books give action steps because when they don't I am always left wondering what I should do. Social Skills provided this so I was thankful for that.

Practice it.

I think that the primary thing that the book achieves is it gets you to focus on improvement in this area of life, and practice it.

Good details.

I have had social anxiety for quite a while now, and find it hard to strike up the conversation with people. After reading this book I have a different perspective on how I look at it now. Though this wasn't a cure to my social anxiety. It was a great step in helping it.

Grateful.

I enjoyed the authors tips and tricks and that it was to the point. I would recommend this for anyone since it addresses some myths and takes the scariness out of small talk.
