Very sexy!

Wow, for a little book, it sure packs a punch! I loved this short story prequel! The writing is awesome and the narration is to die for! This is a steamy paranormal read. I mean STEAMY, yet very classy.

The author, Renea Mason is a excellent writer. I have loved every book written by her so far. The dual narration Ms.Mason has chosen to use for all of her books so far is freaking awesome and that's an understatement! The dual narrators, Noah Michael Levine and Erin deWard are fabulous. Together they really raise the bar in the audio book world of narrations! I get the feeling Noah could make any woman drop to her knees...

Learning About Cyril

In this short, you learn about Cyril. Even though he is rewarded with a woman, he shows compassion for her due to her past as he has read her mind. She goes to him in awe and they end up giving themselves to each other in a promise to love for that night as they would love the one they miss. It's a night of passion and self forgiveness.

The narrators never cease to amaze in emotional displays as feelings of loss are high in this and it shows in their sexual arousal.

Short prequel on Cyril

This was a brief look at a day in Cyril's life long ago. You get a vision of his soul in this read- he has such a kind heart yet believes he cannot love. This in no way adds to the story line but adds a little color to Cyril pre-Linden. Not to mention gives you one steamy interlude.

Narration is fabulous as we have come to expect from the wondrous Noah & Erin team. It is always a please to listen to these two.

A truly intense, extraordinary experience

How has no one in the past five years not convinced me to read the series yet? It has the wild intensity of Kresley Cole and the exquisite bittersweetness of “Highlander” (the 90s TV series), and those are two of my favorite things in the world. I loved the writing style and the narrators so much that I immediately listened to it again immediately after the first time. I absolutely must experience the rest of this series that should be just as remarkable as this short story. I highly recommend this audiobook to all paranormal romance fans.

This is a 43-minute prequel to Renea Mason's “Symphony of Light” paranormal romance series. It is a short interlude in the life of an immortal man named Cyril as he waits for his foreseen one true love. It is set in Scotland, probably in medieval times.

The duet narration by Noah Michael Levine and Erin deWard was powerfully beautiful. I can’t imagine that anyone could perform it better. Erin deWard did the young lady's speaking parts. Noah Michael Levine performed all of the rest: Cyril's speaking parts, the other male speaking parts, and the general story narration. Both of the narrators are very skilled at accents and red hot love scenes.

Can't wait for more!

So I started listening to this book yesterday and for some reason had a complete mental block and could not remember the first book to save my life. Its been a few months since I read the fist book so I restarted the book with plans to listen for a few minutes just to refresh my memory. But I got so hooked by the first book that I ended up listening to both the entire first book again and then the second book right after. So now my head is spinning a little from listening to hour after hour of audiobooks but it was definitely so worth it. These books are excellent. The author has such a nice writing style and was so creative and original. And the narration was amazing, just like the first book. This little quicky of a book just made me more excited for the next book.

Tempting

This is a great start. It leaves me wanting more of Cyril and to find out who is his light.
Noah and Erin did a beautiful
Job with the accents and it made it feel like you were there. They paint such a vivid picture. Can't wait for the next one.
