Publisher's Summary

Do you have fear of failing?

Perhaps you know for yourself that you are destined to be great, and you have many ideas that you would like to execute. But part of you is afraid to fail. And that is the same reason you procrastinate, and you keep on doing other stuff that isn't as important. Meanwhile, on the days that you've done great, you still aren't as happy because you are thinking you've not done well enough. You are always afraid to admit that you are amazing.

You have that fear of failure, but have you thought that you have a fear of success, too?

Fear of failure will make you try to fit into an external standard, but fear of success will stop you and make you do anything to avoid reaching that standard. While fear of failure is very popular and everybody knows about it, the fear of success is hidden so deep in our hearts that we may not recognize it, but it can be much worse for us.

It's controlling you and preventing you from living your best life! And it's killing your confidence and belief in yourself.

Don't let that happen. Shut it down before it gets worse.

This meditation session will help you become a person who believes in oneself and in one's abilities.

You will be successful in the eyes of others and more so in your own eyes, and it will help you to start living a more positive, optimistic life while loving yourself even more.

Plus, this audiobook has free downloadable material to help you get the most out of your meditation session.

You have the chance to be happier, and you have the master key to make it happen. Unlock your full potential; download this audiobook now.

This audiobook has changed my life in so many ways

This audiobook has changed my life in so many ways. I have total control over what I eat now, lose weight easily, maintain it even more easily. I've conquered much of my stress and am working on conquering more. I'm able to control my temper, and I'm tackling insomnia next. Any problem, little or big, that comes up in my life, goes through the exercises in this book, and poof! They just go away. I will continue to use this book for the rest of my life. The time commitment for me is only about an hour a week, and it has changed soooooo many things in my life. I'm very grateful, and very amazed.

This audiobook beautifully guides one

This audiobook beautifully guides one into and through the wholeness process. It is thoughtfully written with excellent language from past experiences. The process itself when practiced diligently can neutralize troubling experiences and assist in understanding more about how we encode them. I highly recommend this material to anyone who wants to experience their life with ease.

I am vaguely familiar with impostor syndrome.

I am vaguely familiar with impostor syndrome. Good thing that there is an introduction about what is impostor syndrome before going in depth about it. Interesting topic about personalities, I’ve learned a lot new things about understanding oneself.

An interesting perspective on impostor syndrome

An interesting perspective on impostor syndrome and why that sets people, mostly women, back. This is a very candid autobiography of a successful woman and her feelings, doubts and thoughts along her career, which is quite humbling to listen to.

This audiobook was surprisingly awesome.

This audiobook was surprisingly awesome. I expected it to be a fast, dry read about business, but it actually has a lot of heart. Empress's exploration of impostor syndrome is important for many people, but especially for women and people of color.

This audiobook is Amazing!

This audiobook is Amazing! The author explains clinically that her ideas are grounded in widely accepted techniques, but it s not so clinical the reader will be confused-- just enough that the reader understands that these techniques are well grounded in the clinical psychology practice and can be trusted as a safe and effective means of working through symptoms of Imposter Syndrome.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I have been struggling with the impostor syndrome for many years! Just when you think you have escaped its deathly claws, it crawls back into your life, ruining everything you have been trying to build. This is especially true when dealing with your career and business - it is a reflection of your self-esteem and perceived self-worth.

Love it...

This is a great audiobook to help you with your self-awareness. I liked that the author explained things regarding the Impostor Syndrome, but also asked pertinent thought provoking questions to help me know if I was experiencing this syndrome. The audiobook includes exercises to work through the Impostor Syndrome Cycle with strategies that are easy to implement. The section on perfectionism was very enlightening for me.

I love the narrator's voice!

It's really amazing how much of my angst and self-doubt is explained by this audiobook. The idea is that, despite all of your achievements and successes, you believe you're not really all that smart or competent, your successes were flukes, and any minute someone could discover that you're really not nearly as smart as everyone things. It's not a put-on or false modesty, you really don't believe the objective evidence that you're a success, and you always worry you won't be able to perform/achieve when you need to.

Waiting for more!

I enjoyed the case studies, which provided great insights into the concept, although I found the writing a little less engaging. Generally, the audiobook has provided me with the ability to recognize Impostor Syndrome symptoms in my own behavior but has much more invaluably provided me with the ability to recognize and rationalize it in other people's behavior.

Finding this audiobook was a blessing.

Finding this audiobook was a blessing. The author of this audiobook touches up on the very thing that has been plaguing my mind for so many years. Its such a relief to know that there is a name for it and more importantly that I am not alone! I've learned a great deal here and know that when those awful impostor feelings try to take over my mind, I now know to recognize them for what they are and overcome them. This could not have come into my life at a better time and for that I will always be grateful.
