Publisher's Summary

At 24 years old, Holly Scallanger has the perfect life. She has everything a girl could want; a beautiful man, a stunning home, as well as being in the midst of preparing for the wedding of her dreams. This all vanishes the night she catches her fiancé, Brandon Morgan, in bed with her worst nightmare, Donna Sinclair, just a week before Holly is set to walk down the aisle.

Attempting to recover from his betrayal, Holly swears off the affections of men in order to pick up the pieces of her crumbling life. Unfortunately, meeting Jake 'Hooligan' Peters is not part of her plan. The tall, dark-haired, and handsome-as-hell med student sweeps Holly away from the pain of her past and reveals to her the bright future that lies ahead. That is, until she falls pregnant just as Jake begins his internship at P&E; his family's hospital.

Will this love at first sight lead her to the fairytale she has always craved? Or, will she fall victim to a betrayal of the heart yet again?

Incredible!

I was blown away by Imperfect Love by Isabella White. Without giving away spoilers, this book is full of so many emotions from happiness, loneliness, devastation, loss, heartache, love, redemption, determination, and so much in between. The twists the author wrote were so unexpected, but realistic. Stefanie Kay performed this book brilliantly! She added so much emotion to the characters, and made some of them so lovable, while certain people were just nasty. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I cannot wait for the next book in this series to learn what happens next. I certainly hope Jake's mother gets karma. Holly deserves her happiness.

Amazing Story!

This was my first Isabella White's book and won't be the last. Imperfect Love is her debut novel! This is the first book in the 4Ever Series. This is an amazing and emotional story, well written, filled with twists and turns. The story ends with a twist, and I can't wait for the next book in the Series to know what happens next. The narration was well done, easy to understand. Stefanie Kay has a great voice. I enjoyed my listening. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Love at First Sight?

This is a wonderful love story with an unexpected turn. I was drawn in immediately and couldn’t stop listening. I did not realize it was was part of a series when I started listening and I can’t wait for the next book in the series to be available on Audible. I have to know what happens next. Stephanie Kay’s calm and clear voice was a listening pleasure.

Good Book

This book has a very good story line, BUT I felt that it was kind of hard trying to get thru the book because one of the main characters "Holly" OMG, she whines all through out the book, that I almost didn't finish it but glad I did. I cant wait to listen to the 2nd book, I just hope she don't whine through out the whole book...

Amazing romance that just went wrong

Holly had the right mindset in the beginning when she finally kicked her cheating ex to the curb, but did she misplace the angst of that relationship on any chance at a future with someone new. That was until she meets Jake, again. She just cant seem to place the one man that could change her life for her. With all that she endures and some interference from some well meaning friends she find that Jake may just be that needed ray of light. Things are not all a bed of rose once the two find each other. There are tears. WTF moments. Happy in the moment. There was an ending for now but there were things left open. You wonder why, how and more.

I enjoyed the journey. I found the writing fresh. I loved the array of characters. I found interfering an mother with good intention to be a life thing. I could relate and make connections.

Narrator brings to life the host of characters that are encountered during this life lesson on love, loss, growth, renewal. I found that Stefanie Kay gave each character their own distinction. I found that she pulled me in further to a story that was good on its own. I looked deeper. Felt more. Embraced the chemistry. the characters were at times confusing but things cleared up.

My Thoughts on Imperfect Love

3.5 of 5 stars

Isabella White is a new author for me, and this book was a roller-coaster ride. It felt kind of slow at the start as Holly and Jake met and got together. But things really picked up and at about 70% it was hard for me to put the book down. The ending was heartbreaking and very emotional. I ended up really liking some characters hating others, and feeling undecided about one. In the end, I felt like while this story ended up holding my attention, there was a lot unresolved and I'm just not sure after how sad things got if I will read the next book.

The narration on the other hand was really good. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to listen to another book narrated by Stefanie Kay.
