wow

At first I was thrown off by the time frame and the story at the beginning but as it progressed I understood where the title of the book came in. I honestly really liked this book and the rivalry that went on and the fact that i was on one team but still understood the other side. The story line and the performance were great also.

So good but so confusing!

This story started out on point! The drama and suspense on what was going to happen with the brothers and who would end up with who! Halfway through I started to get really confused and the end was kind of disappointing! I hope there will be a book 2 to see what happens next and isnt left like that!
Performance was really good by Benjamin Sands. I loved his voice. I just did not like how he used the same voice for Aaliyah. I sometimes had to go back to make sure which character was speaking.

Great read.

I haven't read paranormal since that famous one over 10 years ago .. and I really was not sure if I would like it, but I have been really enjoying this authors books and thought why not. I am glad that I did give it a chance. From the get go I was hooked, the characters are strong and well developed and I was so glad to read not just a strong hero but heroine also. So glad she wasn't going to be weak or whiney. The whole story felt different and new, perhaps because I haven't read much paranormal, but I was gripped and felt the struggle with the brothers. The instant love with Slade and Alea was out of this world, but I can't help but feel sorry for Ramses. I really want to know what will happen next...no scrap that I NEED to know what happens next.

Definitely give this book a shot, A D Justice smashed this one out of the park. AMAZING.

The narrator did a fantastic job, and I really enjoyed listening.

not for me

I HAD A LOVE HATE RELATIONSHIP WITH THIS PLOT, RAMESES WAS IN LOVE WITH ALEA FIRST AND WAS COURTING, YET HIS BROTHER SENDS HIM AWAY AND EXERTS HIS CLAIM ON HER. SAYING ALEA IS HIS IMMORTAL LOVE. BOTH BROTHERS ARE DRAWN TO HER DUE TO HER BLOODLINE. THERE WAS ALOT OF ACTION THROUGHOUT AND DEAPTH, BUT FOR ME I DIDNT GET EXCITED.
