Publisher's Summary

Lisette Pannebaker speaks five languages and has a brilliant business plan - personal language immersion. Clients can hire her to shadow them and speak all day in any language they need to learn for business or travel - whatever. But there's a major hitch: she's far too pretty. Clients with less than honorable intentions sign up just to have Lisette at their side. Solution? A make-under. Way under. The bad wig, icky makeup and puffy sweaters work like a charm. None of her male clients show her the least bit of interest. Lisette's totally relieved. Until...Erik.

Erik Gunnarson is charming, kind, and smart - everything she's ever looked for. Every day as his tutor is making her fall for him more. Even though he seems to have a secret, and she's sworn she'd never date a client, Lisette is tempted to shed her disguise - although it could mean jeopardizing her career.

Enjoy this exciting new Ripple Effect Romance series of clean novellas by six critically-acclaimed authors. "Like a pebble tossed into calm water, a simple act can ripple outward and have a far-reaching effect on those we meet, perhaps setting a life on a different course - one filled with excitement, adventure, and sometimes even love."

Short, Fun & Very Romantic

Short, VERY Romantic, and so much fun! I literally laughed out loud. In fact, my husband looked at me and I said (between laughs), “It’s the same author who had me howling last week at her “Aussie” book.”

Good narration.

Ripple Effect Series Book 6 ~ various authors

I really enjoyed this book. It is very sweet but also has an interesting twist to the romance chase. At different times, I hurt for Eric and for Lizette because they both had been effected by the shallowness of how others looked at their physicality. Eric is handsome, smart, and honorable. Lizette is beautiful, smart, and trying to run an honorable business. How do they get their HEA?

I have enjoyed the books in this series and though the stories are certainly stand alone, one or two characters from a previous book show up in the next book. That’s fun, especially since they each have different authors.

This is #6 in a 6-book, multi-author series. Books 1 and 2 are MIA, and I have not seen them anywhere to even identify them. Books 3-6 are the four books available in audio format.

A funny and sweet romance!

It has been a while since I have read any of Ms. Griffith's books but as soon as I saw this audiobook I knew I had to listen to it! Especially when I saw that the narrator was also one of my favorites, Gwendolyn Druyor! Put these two together and you are bound to have a hit! This story may not be very long but it is full of laughs and a sweet romance that neither saw coming! There is even a touch of mystery but you will have to figure that out for yourself! I really enjoyed connecting with an author that I used to read and review books for and I'm not really sure how we lost touch, but I'm so happy to have listened to this book because I remember the sense of humor that always showed in her books.
I received a free code for this book from Audiobooks Unleashed to listen to on Audible. This review is my own honest opinion.

So, so bad...

We apparently have a bunch of TSTL characters iteracting foolishly. It started out cute. It started out funny...naked robbers at MacDonald's. Sigh. I've only read/listened to two of this author's books, and this seems to be the pattern -- off to a great start, then suddenly run off the rails.

BTW. If you are ever stuck in a snowbank, DO NOT LEAVE THE MOTOR RUNNING. You will not stay warm because you will be dead from carbon monoxide poisoning. Sheesh.
