I'm the Answer to Your Confusion

All Simon Steed wants is to continue his work as a court-appointed defense lawyer and enjoy classic rock music and the peace and quiet of his old neighborhood. He only gets half of what he wishes for.

Has Monica returned? AGAIN? His doctor increases the prescription for his anxiety.
Thank goodness, the evidence for his latest court case provides him the opportunity to exhibit his legal skills. He lands another private client who offers him a substantial retainer, but Simon can’t get her to agree to schedule a meeting in person.
Except she’s got firsthand awareness of all the proceedings in his court case. As if she’s been sitting right there in the courtroom.
