Wonderful. I’ve always been a fan - not a fanatic.

I’ve enjoyed some of your movies; Top Gun, The Saint, Heat. Mostly, The Ghost and the Darkness. Africa was number one on my bucket list and I finally went in 2012 for an incredible 3 week trip, with friends. My husband Matt & I actually went to the field museum in Chicago to see the lions.

As tears run down my cheeks, listening to the end of your memoir, I feel at peace with my life. With everything. With today and the life left to come.

I’m so happy you decided to share yourself with us, with me. I’ve learned much about you but mostly, through your words of love, I’ve learned about myself.
