Val is a man in every sense of the word ... the man I wish I met in my younger years . He’s honest and grounded and gives us a pretty clear pic of himself and what makes him tick . Wishing him continued good health and good art .

Consider this a healing meditation. The way Val was lost in the healing sound of Twain, I have been lost in the music of the spheres through this memoir. Such a delight. Thank you Val!

Honest and interesting

I enjoyed his honest and sincere story of life, love, and learning experiences. He didn't bad mouth anyone, which was refreshing, but he still shared celebrity stories.

Very Enjoyable Autobiography

A very entertaining and insightful journey of a wonderful actor and a unique person. I loved his stories of being with Marlon Brando and Cher. I loved his recounting of his roles in films especially as Jim Morrison. I loved a lot of the book, what I didn't love were the use of three narrators, especially of Mare Winningham, who I couldn't stand listening to. Sorry, it was just too jarring and completely took me out of the story.

All his experiences including his battle with throat cancer and his spiritual awakening with Christian Science really made for a very involving and interesting autobiography. And I totally want to watch some of his films again.

I have read this book several times since it has came out. I've been mourning Val Kilmer the last few days 😢. I love his storey. May Val Rest in Peace. You will Always be my Wingman and Huckleberry. ❤️

Perfect for long drives!

I have been a fan of Val Kilmer since “Real Genius “ I recently moved to Montana and have a long winding drive through the gorgeous Gallatin Valley to work. “I’m your Huckleberry” was the perfect book to listen to while taking this daily drive. I was mesmerized by Val’s writing, he is a wonderful storyteller. And though it wasn’t read by him, the three actors that did the reading were magnificent. Overall it was a beautifully written autobiography, by one of Hollywood’s underrated and talented stars. I loved it!
