Loved it

I loved this book! It was funny, and touching . Her experiences sent great reminders reminding me in this life we all, at one time or other , experience embarrassing and awkward moments, it is what we learn from them that matter. Great book!

Real look into the back side of celebrity/Hollywood life...through a writer... It was eye opening, delightful, funny and interesting.

interesting look at celeb journalism

She is an awesome, funny writer and narrator. The stories are fun, but what I liked best are the parts about being an editor. Her bra/Anderson Cooper story was particularly good.

Ahhh, just what I needed. A sweet, simple recollection of memories. Best afternoon ever. Author was fantastic narrator. Now on to Atlas Shrugged....

A charming story

it was great fun hearing the highs and lows of someone working their dream job. The author brings charm to the text and performance with openness and humor. Never gossipy, instead we get and insider's journal of working with celebrity. Ms. Coyne is ambitious, passional and self-aware. Ultimately, this book feel like a long conversation with a new friend.

SO much fun & kept me laughing throughout!

This book felt like I was sitting across the table from a good friend as she detailed the hilarity of her celebrity run-ins and interviews. There were many moments that I found myself laughing out loud, nodding in agreement and understanding, and overall charmed. An incredibly fun read for anyone even remotely interested in pop culture or the entertainment business.

I loved this book. I have to say that I am not a celebrity fan at all. However, having read Kate Coyne's writing for several decades I found this to be one of her best works. She is hilarious and thoughtful and her writing is so smart. I laughed out loud several times. I highly recommend it for fans and even stodgy ER doctors like myself. The performance was enthusiastic and fun. Thanks Katie for a very enjoyable binge listen to and from work this week. You are awesome.
