From the second Suzanne Westenhoefer starts to talk, it's clear that she's a comic totally in control of her crowd - unflappable, unshakeable, absolutely at ease on stage. Westenhoefer's shtick is predicated largely in her sexuality, and when she quips, early on, "An all gay crowd, of course, is my favorite crowd because I don't have to explain any of the jokes," you have a sense of where things are headed. Never fear, though - Westenhoefer's material, contrary to her own claim, is accessible and uproarious, and her cool-as-a-cucumber stage presence is a joy to experience. Press play and rest assured, you'll find yourself cradled in highly capable comedic hands, laughing all the way through to the end.

Just Plain Funny
I try to see her everytime she's in Columbus, and she is a riot! You will love this title even if you aren't gay! This is a good one.

Suzanne Does Stand Up for Lesbians.
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
YES YES YES!!! I love MS Westenhoefer's stand up. She is extremely funny and it's nice to have a lesbian do our own humor. Plus she is thought provoking. She makes you think about our culture and ourselves, about the trials of coming out, of dealing with family. But her way of handing is to take you on cruise. Have fun and listen.
What did you like best about this story?
I think I found just her general stand up funny but my favorite routines where about the Amish and Her saying with her mother with her the parts about her sister and her mother.
Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have all three of her CD at my house, I downloaded all three of her CD's on to my computer and kindle fire. I have several DVD's with her doing small bits I love watching her whenever I get the chance to see her on TV. Do yes I have a lot of stuff she does. She is a really funny comedian. And this Audio of her stand up routine is really funny.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I have seen Suzanne do her stand-up on HBO special's which is as close as you get to seeing preform on of her stand up routine. If you can find a copy -do, she will make you laugh till you cry.

This a lesbian culture icon thing, if you are gay you need to hear this and laugh -hard.
