Uber is changing the transportation industry forever and making us rethink black car service for everybody. With the touch of a button, the perfect vehicle arrives to whisk you to your dreams, but what do we really know about the driver?

Borrowing from Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and a middle-aged On the Road, this book takes us on a journey through the corners of Detroit, as this driver searches for meaning after a troubled past, while the city recovers from the most significant municipal bankruptcy in US history.

From the pristine and decadent suburbs to the graffiti-tagged ruins, with industrial captains and strippers, I’m Light shows us the shine and the shadows as they unfold through the tinted windows of his Cadillac. Gerson discovers much about himself while carrying passengers through a city that is at once romantic and terrifying, with resurgent pockets of rebirth and dark stagnant corners you dare not traverse.

Mix hopeful takes on this area’s position as a thriving worldwide commerce hub with touches of physics and humanity, and you have a revealing drive on the mean streets all around Detroit.

Buckle up, Baby.

it wasnt bad. Pretty entertaining in parts and I enjoyed many of the stories. A deeper inside look of the people around you. The great thing about this is your never know how awesome the person is behind the wheel, nor what they have been through or going through.
