Publisher's summary

Normally when you say, “I have a stalker,” you think bad thoughts. That wasn’t the kind of stalker Folsom was when it came to Kobe Sano. Folsom liked to call herself a “guardian angel in disguise".

The first time he catches her attention, he’s been assigned to hunt her down and throw away the key. All she did was steal someone else’s child. Well, embryo, that is. What Kobe doesn’t know is that the man who hired him is up to no good, and she has no other choice but to run without looking back.

From that moment on, she spends the rest of her spare time running away from him while also digging into every nook and cranny of his personal life, finding every weakness he has and utilizing it any way she needs to keep herself one step ahead of him.

Only one day, when she goes to do her usual snooping, she finds out that not only is her favorite person in trouble, but he’s also in need of her help.

Too bad it takes her years to find that help.

Her next step is to break him out of the pokey prison-break style.

If she knew he’d go without question, she very well might have.

***

It didn’t take a genius to know when someone was stalking you. The signs were all there, and they eventually pointed right at Folsom.

When he figures it out, he plans to confront her and maybe address the silent sexual tension that’s been brewing between them for the last few years.

However, right when he’s ready to admit to himself that she might be the one—daughter who intimidates the hell out of him or not—she up and disappears for a year.

In that year, he spends every waking moment searching for her.

And eventually he finds her, confronts her, and is hit in the face with the secrets she’s kept from him for years.

One of which is a big one.

The daughter that she protects with everything she has—the one that he’s come to love with all his heart, just like her mom—is the very abducted child from his one and only unsolved case.

FINALLY THE SERIES GOT GOOD AGAIN!

I’ve read almost every LLV book and have read all but one book in this series. I honestly have not been feeling the last couple releases but this one was so good, a little OTT but that’s what I love about her books! So glad this one went back to her roots!

Favorite of the series

This one was for sure my favorite, I had some good laughs and was really into the overall story. And I love when characters from other series are worked into another story.

AWESOME!

Really liked this story!

Enjoyed the brief appearance of beloved characters from earlier series.

Would’ve loved to see more explicit details of the bad guys’ comeuppance. I do enjoy it a lot when they get what they deserve.

Great narration. Recommended audiobook.

Kobe & Folsom

Wow, what a way to end this series. An intensely captivating, heartfelt, and sinfully delicious ride to go on with Kobe and Folsom. My heart absolutely broke for Folsom but what she did to survive and take care of her daughter was definitely commendable. Kobe may have never known it but he was loved, appreciated and taken care of from a distance. So many questions are answered in this book. You could definitely feel the love between these two. I loved everything about this book. Lani Lynn Vale never ceases to amaze me.
OH boy.. Connor Crais is my absolute favorite narrator. I jumped for joy when I saw that he was narrating. He can read the phonebook and Id listen. Therefore, narration is perfection!

Series finished strong

I have a love hate relationship with this series. I wanted more grit from the Gator Bait men, and a few books in the middle of this series lacked the what we all know LLV is capable of creating. I am so happy that the last 3 books really picked up and finished strong. The only thing that I wish this book had was more spice. But the story was so good that it didn’t detract from its quality, just made me want more! Also, the last two books are the only two in this series that the narrators, both male and female did excellent.

Outstanding

Narration is perfection. I love a sexy male voice and the female voice was very good. The presentation was perfect for the characters and enhanced the storyline. Sad when it ended. Weird hostile family members make this story entertaining. There is a mystery, a search for the bad guys, a final confrontation and a shooting. It is a very good way to enjoy your reading-listening hours. I have already listened to it 3 times. This story and narration is just perfection.

Great Book

Love this book the best from the rest of the books from this series. I really enjoy how the other book series intertwine within it, as well.

Folsom and Kobe

I really enjoyed this story. Was glad to see some of my favorite characters from previous LLV books -- Souls Chapel Revenants MC and Welcome To The Circus/ Freak Show. The story was interesting, unique, and suspenseful. Loved the ending. The Epilogue was funny. Narration was by Connor Crais and Rose Dioro and they performed the story beautifully. They were the perfect choices to voice these characters (especially since Connor did the Souls Chapel Revs series).
