Publisher's summary

A lack of variety but also a sense of warmth

The story is slow (and the chapters are too long!). The reader often speaks too fast and gasps noisily for air. There is a sameness about his delivery. The plot, too, could use more peaks and valleys. On the plus side, the story has grown on me (it's more conversational, more analytical than other Agatha Christies and the actor/reader brings a warm, likeable character to life).
