Publisher's Summary
These two concepts will transform your life – do you want to learn more?
Do you want to have a fulfilling job that you actually enjoy, a mindful and healthy lifestyle, satisfying relationships with your loved ones, and a clear mind focused on the truly important things in life?
Do you know what stands between you and those things you want?
Your mindset.
Fortunately, you don’t need a complete mindset overhaul to achieve happiness. Just introducing two important concepts will be enough.
The first of these concepts is ikigai. This is your true life purpose, the reason why you get up in the morning. It’s scientifically proven that people who follow their ikigai live amazingly long and healthy lives.
The second is Wabi-Sabi, or the appreciation of imperfection. Wabi-Sabi is not just a lifestyle trend involving lots of asymmetrical hand-made things – it’s an entire philosophy that’s all about mindfulness, being fully immersed in the present moment, and the acceptance of aging.
Finding your ikigai and embracing Wabi-Sabi are two fundamental steps towards attaining happiness. This unique book bundle will carefully guide you through them.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
- Psychotherapeutic techniques that will lead you towards discovering your ikigai
- Scientifically proven lifestyle hacks that will help you slow down your aging processes
- How to gain mental clarity and focus by getting rid of non-essential physical and mental clutter
- How to bring the three principles of Wabi-Sabi into your home and your life
- Bonus: nutrition strategies that will boost your health and help you focus on doing what you love!
By discovering and applying the concepts of ikigai and Wabi-Sabi, you’ll be able to transform your life according to your true values – and learn to enjoy (almost) every minute of it!
Some Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Is Wabi-Sabi just a fashionable name for hoarding?
A: No. Once you’ve mastered the principles of Wabi-Sabi, you’ll naturally tend towards minimalism. Admiring imperfection is not the same as refusing to part with unnecessary or broken things!
Q: I’ve already got a job but I think it’s not my ikigai. Should I change careers?
A: It’s advisable to choose your career based on your ikigai. You’ll be doing the things that you’re naturally good at, so you’ll quickly become an accomplished professional!
Are you ready to transform your life?

Here's a new and important idea
I was fascinated to learn about the Japanese concept of Ikigai, “a reason for being,” and the strategies for developing Ikigai in our lives. Lots of great, actionable info presented alongside the more abstract, philosophical and strategic concepts.

Great tips and advice
The book is replete with examples of Japanese professionals-Author explains how the Japanese practice self-awareness as the starting point for a more meaningful daily life. Much of this is "educated" common sense: starting small, releasing yourself, harmony and sustainability, the joy of small things and being in the here and now.

Magnificent productive audio-book
Wabi-Sabi is a way of life that appreciates and accepts complexity while at the same time values simplicity. This book gets the message across so well with honesty and story examples that the listener can identify with. Author really expresses the stages of failure, shame, and fear that keep us down, and she shows us the steps to get back up!

This Japanese philosophy encourages us to focus on the blessings shining in our daily lives and celebrate the way things are rather than craving how they should be.Wabi-Sabi is a way of life that appreciates and accepts complexity while at the same time values simplicity.

Easy listen and enlightening
I actually highlighted what parts really struck me so I can go back to them in the future. There were moments I felt such an intense emotional reaction to what I was listening I had to set the book down and truly work what I was feeling out in my head. That is true power.

I found this to be a good introduction
It’s the perfect antidote to a throwaway society built on disposable goods and mass-produced, homogeneous items. This book was very timely for me to listen because of some tough experiences I've had n this last year. Reading through it gave me valuable techniques to draw on as I work through those experiences.

This audio-book packed full of tips and ideas.
The good part of the book is that it will force you to think strategically about getting the most from life. It will also give you the motivation to start doing stuff-- Sebastian appeals to the reality of death quite often. The book also contains a lot of practical advice, such as making sure to improve your credit rating.

Lots of Vital Data Accumulated In This Book
I listen this book at a time I was trying to figure out how to live a cohesive life. This book does a good job of covering different aspects of life and how they can all be related back to one’s Ikigai. I found it to be helpful in thinking about what motivates me both in life long term and on a day-to-day basis and how to get those motivations aligned. Beautiful.

This book has the ability to be a life changer
This book has the ability to be a life changer, though that said it is not for everyone. I found it life changing. I found the author style good throughout, though much of the book is based around selling the core concepts within it which could be summed up rather simply in a chapter or so, that said that ideas do need selling.

his book subtlety is truly astounding.
The concept of wabi-sabi, despite being wide and almost impossible to distill, can easily be applied simply to moments of everyday life. This book subtlety is truly astounding. After perusing this book I am so intrigued. I would be prescribed for this book to anybody.

This book is easily comprehensible by the listener
The melding of various elements of traditional Japanese philosophies elucidates Ikigai as a framework that we can use to examine ourselves more closely, assess the current state of our lives, and see if after all of this it is still suiting us.

Loved this book.
Ikigai means the reason for being. Each person would have a different Ikigai, a different purpose, it is an amazing feeling to read and understand this aspect from different perspectives. Loved this book.
